He's just premièred his new single (see other thread) from his new album. His previous two albums have sold bucketloads but, as he's not the most profilic popstar, has he left it too late or could just be one of those artists that can just keep selling albums whatever the situation?

Shouldn't both threads be merged?

It's the procedure in the pop forum - no matter what the artist we thought it preferable for singles and albums to have separate threads!

So, every artist will have 1 thread per album and 1 thread per single released? Each to their own I guess. I'd have thought it was easy to search all the info on eras in one thread only.

If you're prepared to read through an entire massive thread for the info you want, sure.

And what's so advantageous about searching through pages and pages of the Pop forum to find info regarding a certain single?

There is a search function. It's a lot handier than trying to guess which pages of a 20+ page topic have the info you want.

it also means that the info won't be woven in together - info on the album followed by the single stuff followed by the album stuff and discussion on ALL of that all whilst ur looking for one thing? confusiiiing.
I understand such system on an AF, but a pop forum where we post threads about thousands of acts that come and go, I personally don't find it quite useful. But anyways, this shouldn't be discussed anyways cause decision have been made and it's pointless to go on if no measure will be taken.

At the end of the day we end up with an "album thread" with no info at all about the album. So it makes the thread kind of "pointless"...

I think it makes more sense to have all the info related to an era in the same thread, but I get different people have different opinion, so it's ok. :)

Does anyone know the official release date?

Regardless of age/popularity i think he will be able to sell albums, he writes great music and his good looks always help!

Not a huge fan of the album cover, especially considering how good his last one was. Having an interlude as track 3 is a bit strange though but obviously haven't heard it yet to see how it fits in. Excited for that Janelle feature!

This is an absolutely fantastic album. 1 of four I've bought in the last month and they've all been spectacular. He certainly deserves all of this success.

I have just discovered this man! He has the most amazing voice I've ever heard. I will be buying this album tomorrow.

His live performances of "Iron Sky" are f***ing legit.

Never really got the hype for Paolo before now, always thought he wasn't really my thing, but after catching him live at Radio 1's big weekend on Sunday I was inclined to check this out.

This is actually a spectacular album, he really suits the soulful sound. So glad I took the plunge.
