February 12, 201411 yr Itr's atrocious, literally taking the most common rap line that's endemic to almost every rap song oot there, 'Ah got money on ma miiiind ... uh ...' It's literally the last thing that needs a whole song to itself. But it'll probably scrape in somewhere between 20-30.
February 13, 201411 yr Itr's atrocious, literally taking the most common rap line that's endemic to almost every rap song oot there, 'Ah got money on ma miiiind ... uh ...' Except it's the exact opposite of that if you listen closely to the lyrics. I'm not a massive fan of the song but I do like its message about how music should be done for the love rather than the money (money is just a bonus)
February 13, 201411 yr That doesn't even require listening 'closely', all you need to figure that out is working ears.
February 13, 201411 yr I did like this but it's started to grate on me quite a bit, the falsetto in the chorus is really not good either I agree. It's clearly top 5 though, and probably top 3. #3 I'd say behind Pharrell and A Great Big World, maybe #4 behind Clean Bandit as well.
February 13, 201411 yr Held back way too long. Would like for him to hit #1, but I'm feeling #2 with a pretty short T10 run (happy to be proven wrong).

Have you actually listened to the lyrics to this song? He's saying he DOESNT have money on his mind. He is making music purely for "the love" and not for money. Think Jessie J - Price Tag. Also, scraping in at 20-30? Prepare to be bitterly disappointed.
