Out on 3rd March

 

Desperately want this to do something and it's easily better than the two songs she's most known for, but I'll be very surprised if this goes top 100. :cry:

 

In an ideal world, it would be at least top 5 so I'll go for that.

Was thinking this could be quite big a few months ago but the pre-order isn't even top 1500 is it? Not that I've seen anyway. :( It's a lovely song so I hope it can at least make the top 100 or something.

It's now up to #100 on radio airplay, and #59 on TV play, so I don't think it'll be a flop. It seems like the sort of song that the more MOR stations would lap up. :)

Hopefully it'll be a late bloomer like that 'Thousand Years' track (although unlikely).

It doesn't seem like a pre-ordery type of song really (*), so I don't think too much can be read into that.

 

(*) On the theory that younger fans are more likely to pre-order.

It won't do anything here, at least not inititally. It's taking its sweet time to build in the US and UK radio is incapable of picking up tracks like this unless the US have given it the thumbs up first.

FYI, I had Jar Of Hearts on 926k as at 12/10/13, and it seems to sell ~600/wk, so probably on 936-938k now. Hopefully interest in this new one will hurry it on towards 7 figures... :)

Now #705 on pre-orders, I'll predict Top 30.

Bump, as due for release tomorrow.

Going by the preorders, should actually go top 15 which I'm really pleased about.

I do have to agree with Ken Bruce that it would be better if she pronounced the word "human" in a less distracting way.

Her album isn't gettin released until 30th March. I would've pushed this release back 1/2 weeks if I were her as it seems to be picking up some steam now.

Apparently it *has* been pushed back at least a week.

It will chart at #12 for her.

 

 

How come the poll only goes down to Top 40 when the official chart is Top 100. So to me a flop is one that doesn't make Top 100.

It's just the stupid old BBC that only goes to 40.

 

Anyway a great track from a great singer. Can't wait for the album.

I can definitely see this going top 10 now, the pre-order has REALLY picked up :o Shocked but not at all unhappy!

I think it's in with a good shot of becoming another top 5 hit for her now as the PO is up to 71 :o

There was me worrying 3 weeks ago when I first posted in this thread that it'd slip by completely unnoticed.

I think it'll go top 10. Should be another massive hit for her, I can see the likes of Heart overplaying this causing it to have a lengthy chart run
