I don't really see the need for options beyond #40 on polls for songs like this, but I do question the fact that 'flop' is given as an option when it's not actually a quantifiable phrase (and so not necessarily mutually exclusive with the other options).

I do try to keep mine to the same format - usually 8 choices, though I could substitute 'below T40' for 'flop', I suppose.

Yeah, your format is fine (it's the one I use as well when I open one of these threads) - but as well as changing 'flop' to '41+' I would request you change the options to #1, #2-3, #4-5, #6-10 etc. in future. Obviously people get what you mean with the current options but taking a literal interpretation, 'top 40' would be correct even if a song went to #1 :P

I'll experiment then, the next time there's a song I like - which sadly happens increasingly less frequently... :nocheer:

It'll be a long running single but will only chart at around #8 but I can see it having longevity!

I put top 5 based on its pre-orders. I can't see it reaching the top spot but it should definitely go top 10 I would say, if it remains 59p after it is released then I see no reason it couldn't be top 5 if not top 3.

 

I hope it goes top 3 and would be very happy if it does manage to become a UK number 1.

The Monday release could cost her a top ten place... #10-12

I really liked this song when I first heard it but it's got annoying very quickly (due to my dad playing it on repeat all night for the past week). -_-

 

Still think it'll easily go top 5 though.
