April 8, 201411 yr I see that Ace is getting a release in Germany in June so it look like they are going to promote it in Europe. I can see it being a big hit.
April 12, 201411 yr Author Here are the latest odds using the best odds available according to Oddschecker: (the arrows refer to the country's previous position in the odds) 01. 15/8 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Armenia.png Armenia 02. 3/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Sweden.png Sweden 03. 10/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Denmark.png Denmark 04. 14/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Norway.png Norway 05. 16/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/United_Kingdom.png United Kingdom 06. 19/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Hungary.png Hungary 07. 20/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Ukraine.png Ukraine 08. 25/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Azerbaijan.png Azerbaijan 09. 26/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Romania.png Romania 10. 33/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Belgium.png Belgium 11. 50/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Austria.png Austria 12. 50/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Russia.png Russia 13. 66/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Italy.png Italy 14. 66/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Greece.png Greece 15. 66/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Ireland.png Ireland For countries with the same odds I've just based the order on what Oddschecker have. In the top 10, only Sweden, Denmark and the United Kingdom's odds are starting to shorten quite quickly. Is this the start of the UK gaining momentum, I hope so! :o
April 27, 201411 yr Author So with the rehearsals beginning tomorrow when we can expect quite significant changes to the odds, here are the latest odds using the best odds available according to Oddschecker: (the arrows refer to the country's previous position in the odds) 01. 37/19 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Armenia.png Armenia 02. 11/4 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Sweden.png Sweden 03. 9/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Denmark.png Denmark 04. 14/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Ukraine.png Ukraine 05. 14/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Norway.png Norway 06. 16/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/United_Kingdom.png United Kingdom 07. 25/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Hungary.png Hungary 08. 25/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Azerbaijan.png Azerbaijan 09. 33/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Romania.png Romania 10. 40/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Austria.png Austria 11. 40/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Belgium.png Belgium 12. 66/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Greece.png Greece 13. 66/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Russia.png Russia 14. 74/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Spain.png Spain 15. 80/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Italy.png Italy For countries with the same odds I've just based the order on what Oddschecker have. Odds still suggesting a race between Armenia and Sweden for the win, with Denmark, Ukraine, Norway and the UK with outside chances. The rest of the top 10 are starting to fall back a bit it seems, but it will all change as the rehearsals get underway tomorrow!
April 27, 201411 yr i like hungary's song, but it's not quite there. i do LIKE the armenian entry and i kind of 'get it', but it is essentially just an incredibly piss poor 'too close' clone. its one of those cases where the underdog comes with a good song so everyone gets behind it, for it not to do anywhere NEAR what they were originally planned to do. it happens in BJSC a lot so its just that on a bigger scale.

That's possibly the one thing that is making me uncertain about Hungary. It is the most solid, modern pop song which is why I think it's a good contender but personally I do feel like it's missing an element to elevate it to the next level and certain winner contender. (that thing about underdogs always makes me so sad, even if I'm not a fan of the song, I hope we get a good load of different countries in the top 10 and qualifying this time round, last year's final felt too similar to 2012's on that point)
April 28, 201411 yr Hungary is a good song but it lacks a winning feel to it. That said, i would not rule out a win for them and they are certainly worth an each way bet. Sweden are in the same category as Hungary but i slightly prefer Hungary's entry. I have not listened to all the songs for an overly long length of time as i try and hold back to enjoy the delivery of it for Eurovision. From an outskirts listen there is nothing hugely great this year and nothing as excellent as last years Danish winning song which was fantastic. At the moment, Spain is the best of the entries.

This  Sanna and the Armenia guy are poor live specially after the rehearsals' videos but Ruth  My dream top 5 would be: 1. Spain 2. UK 3. Sweden 4. Austria 5. Hungary
April 28, 201411 yr Hungary's odds aren't long enough for it to be a great each way bet, but they're good enough for me to finally plump up the courage to whack on a fiver at 29/1 on Betfair - bringing my total so far this year to £50 (tenner each way on Malta at a DIZZYING 80/1 and £30 on Molly to win at something like 16/1. If only I'd waited until the excitement had worn off...)
April 29, 201411 yr Author Israel and Malta seem to be shortening the most following the rehearsals so far, although Israel already seemed to be gaining momentum last week possibly due to the success in the OGAE voting. It's about time people started noticing Malta!
May 1, 201411 yr Author So now that the first rehearsals of the semi-finalists have been completed, here are the latest odds using the best odds available according to Oddschecker: (the arrows refer to the country's previous position in the odds) 01. 2/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Armenia.png Armenia 02. 10/3 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Sweden.png Sweden 03. 10/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Denmark.png Denmark 04. 14/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Ukraine.png Ukraine 05. 16/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/United_Kingdom.png United Kingdom 06. 16/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Norway.png Norway 07. 25/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Hungary.png Hungary 08. 25/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Azerbaijan.png Azerbaijan 09. 34/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Austria.png Austria 10. 40/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Israel.png Israel 11. 40/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Romania.png Romania 12. 50/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Belgium.png Belgium 13. 70/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Spain.png Spain 14. 70/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Greece.png Greece 15. 70/1 http://www.eurovision.tv/img/upload/flags/mini/Russia.png Russia For countries with the same odds I've just based the order on what Oddschecker have. Austria and Israel have climbed the most following their rehearsals. Outside the top 15, Malta and Switzerland seem to have been shortening the most.
May 1, 201411 yr Just placed a few bets - 14/1 - UK And some each way bets as the odds were good and we all know anything can happen at ESC - Malta - 66/1 France - 100/1
May 2, 201411 yr Author The only significant change towards the top of the odds today is that the United Kingdom have moved above Ukraine into 4th place with shortening odds of 14/1 while Ukraine's odds have lengthened to 16/1.
