Posted February 14, 201411 yr I think rudimental could jump back to no1 and it would be well deserved :) What do you think?
February 14, 201411 yr Ellie or Bastille, probably. If only Katy B was performing too, she'd get a huge effect too.
February 14, 201411 yr Is there a thread with the nominations? Yes :) http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=161729
February 14, 201411 yr It'll be Disclosure or Arctic Monkeys considering they are both performing as well as being the most likely winners for Best Album.
February 14, 201411 yr Author Is John Newman performing? Mikey just said hes performing on J.Ross too - double whammy could help him seal it!!
February 14, 201411 yr Yes :) http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=161729 Thanks :D I think Bastille, Ellie Goulding, Rudimental, maybe John Newman and London Grammar could jump up on the albums chart imo
February 14, 201411 yr If only Katy B was performing too, she'd get a huge effect too. I was thinking this earlier. If she did a similar quality performance to that of Graham Norton, Crying For No Reason would explode. The most obvious choice for albums is going to be the winner of 'best album'. But I think Ellie might go back to number 1. If Beyonce performs as rumoured, 'Beyonce' could do well.
February 19, 201411 yr I was just thinking Beyoncé could get a massive boost if it's true she's performing 'Pretty Hurts' as I'd imagine that would lend itself to album sales (possible #1 contender?). I'm thinking Bastille and Arctic Monkeys will get particularly large album boosts (%wise) as well.

February 19, 201411 yr Author They won the British Group & the big one - Brutish Album so it strictly speaking should be the biggest gainer - can't say how much I love AM!
February 20, 201411 yr They won the British Group & the big one - Brutish Album so it strictly speaking should be the biggest gainer - can't say how much I love AM! I love Arctic Monkeys but I actually think some casual fans/potential album buyers would have been put-off by Alex Turner's sanctimonious acceptance speech. Didn't do them any favours IMO and I'd say the label won't be best pleased. He could have made his point with a bit of humility and gratitude thrown in (but I guess he was too pissed).

Hmmm it will be interesting to see. On iTunes AM is at #2 behind the Brits compilation album.
