62 in singles

Ep is at 12 in albums

Not too bad 2 hours in, all things considered. Hopefully will pick up in the morning.

I'd rather 'Not Giving Up' chart at #76 than have to entertain the idea of 'Leave A Light On' as a single!!

PREACH.

Still not even top 40? Wtf. Will this even go top 30?

I think it's interresting though. This release being pretty much without any airplay or promo for now kinda show their fanbase isn't enough to put them in the top 10. They do need a bit of the general public, more than we believe.

This needs to go top 10 today.. As we saw with Ireland, it will probably peak today and then start to drop throughout the week.

Of course they do. Which is why when it got no airplay it was so worrying. They have potentially big causal appeal. I think this is looking to miss the top 30/40 now unfortunately. It should be jumping up 10 spaces with every update, while Vamps and Iggy climb and it's not.

But we haven't factored in This Morning and Loose Women promotion, so I don't think it'll drop throughout the first half of the week. Yes it's repetitive promotion but still good exposure.

I just hope the performance of this single doesn't hurt the support for the next campaign/single.

 45 - 5 more 10 places jumps please?

45. The Saturdays - Not Giving Up

If it's top 20 by half 10 I'm sure it could manage to sneak top 10 this week. Hopefully Sunday Brunch has some sort of effect!

John Martin only scaled the top 10 at 4pm last week. Being advertised as a hot song with 59p on display is sure to help.
Those performances on morning shows very rarely have any effect on the charts, though.

Aren't the UK on Easter holidays now? That'll help as more music buyers will be tuned into This Morning and Loose Women..

I think its another week till the Easter holidays. This is the first "pre album" release that i've not downloaded at midnight - I only just got my EPs and Radio Mix
