I'm actually quite confident the first midweek will be """good""". Definitely low top 10 (even if it's at #10) on that midweek.

If they could manage to climb to #13 and then #12 tomorrow (but it won't happen, because why would it? There's no promo, no airplay, nothing...) then I'm sure Lose Women would send them at #10. Now being #10 it would give them the top 10 exposure and since it's 59p, it will obviously lead people to buy it.

Top 10 does feel so near yet so far! A slight boost would probably do the trick. Airplay does seem to be picking up a bit, at least according to CompareMyRadio.

Is it really picking? It's doing so bad airplay-wise, really. :(

In my opinion, a group like The Saturdays (who releases literally the most commercial pop radio-friendly songs ever, have a big enough profile in the UK, have had 13 top 10 singles, that have been supported quite well throughout the years, that just had a number one last year, etc, etc) should be top 40 at the very least in all these radio stations. But if you look at comparemyradio, even the radio station that has played NGU the most (The Hits Radio) doesn't have them in their top 40! They are not in Free radio's top 40 either (although they are probably at #41). They are #29 at Heat Radio, which is alright. Not in Cool FM's top 40 either. Sure as hell not in Capital's top 40 either and let's not even talk about Radio 1 which has played it...once.

I'm sorry, but does it look like the airplay for a song released by successful and commercial pop group The Saturdays? It looks like the airplay a song from an Indie artist would get.. It's a real
big fat juicy
joke.

They should be #23 on airplay right now and we should be moaning about how terribly awful that position is.

I'm surprised the radios haven't started getting on board this week to be honest. A song that is steadily in the top 15 with absolutely no support should get some attention. It's just REWD. Look at Jakwob and John Newman, who are being hammered by radio 1 and XFM but aren't even top 40!

The girls are coming for Paloma. They're increasing while she decreases. I hope they can pull off a few more green updates today.

I really hope it's just a case of what's the point in supporting a song that is more likely gonna flop than not, with this release and I hope that's why the radio stations aren't on board. Hopefully we get the Playlist for Radio 1 tomorrow and The Sats are c-listed cause I mean people are obviously more interested in this than some of their other Playlists songs So it would make more sense for them to play this really.
Shocked this has managed to hold up at #14 overnight :o

Unless The Sats went top 2/3 in the midweeks, there is no way Radio 1 would ever playlist this. Capital might start playing it if it holds up though.

Yeah, I don't think the song will be significant enough for playlisting if it's missed the top 10 altogether. That being said, I feel like it will have at least some longevity rather than do a Gentleman :)

I agree. It's not plummeting yet like it normally would have done so I think there is some shelf life on this song! Hopefully as unsaid before it can really benefit from the weekend effect. It's a great song to get ready to go out clubbing to!!

They'd be in a lot better position if they were on Carr or Norton this Friday :(

I have a strong feeling it will do a 'human' by Christina perri and stick a while but on a slightly lower level as that song got support by BBC radio 2.

Typical

I cannot believe we got Leapfrogged. Atleast we're still increasing though! Hopefully 5 seconds fall again though.
That really is bloody typical! That song has been out for weeks as well. How far ahead are 5SOS?
I've bought the CD single, the iTunes single, the iTunes EP and the Remix EP (bought all 5 tracks, so they count as individual sales) which brings my total spent to £12.54 :o they need those 8 sales though. Later in the week I'll probably do Amazon and the rest (if top 10 is still a possibility).

Bring on the Greatest Hits era!

Edited by joepassmore

Let the free falling begin! The girls really should be tweeting non stop \ doing more promotion.
Down to #40 in Ireland :o
Hopefully Loose Women tomorrow will help to boost them a little bit. Plus tour tickets will go on sale tomorrow which perhaps could have a bit of an effect.

There's no chance it's going to stick around. It's fallen from like #17 in Ireland to #40 in five days. There's no way it's suddenly going to stick around in the UK when they've got zero airplay and little promotion.

It's done well considering the circumstances but there's only so much the fanbase can do. :(

I just hope there isn't loads of articles about The Saturdays having 'Another flop single' ahead of their greatest hits and ticket sales, it could really hurt it and support for the next single.
