Crazy! Is it common for artists to do this or does this make them look a bit desperate?

Quite a few have done it recently. Foxes, Enrique. I don't think people judged them. Though they might with The Saturdays.

Good news about the 59p price! Hopefully that'll help it "do a 'Nasty'" by scraping the Top 10.

Hopefully once they announce that it's 59p on social media it'll go back into the actual top 1,500.

Foxes had just won a grammy when she reduced hers to 59p and Enrique has a much big world-wide presence and had a Pitbull on his track, so it shouldn't look too bad for The Saturdays. Hopefully iTunes will install a little 'pre-order for 59p' badge soon, it helped Foxes.

Ohh, just randomly came across this.

- The Cahill remix has been uploaded by Vevo and it's PURPLE.

iTunes pre-order is now 59p. Very sensible choice at this point.
Keep requesting this on Capital, guys. Surely they'll play it if they see it's in demand.
I wish James Barr was at Capital - he literally hammered every possible Saturdays' song! He's returning to Heat and says he will be playing Saturdays' :kink:
Rocklan One radio in America have been playing 'Not Giving Up' on a daily basis :o

Maybe that's why they got rid of him :kink:

He left.

How do you know? :o

They tweet on a daily basis - #NowPlaying @thesaturdays Not Giving Up.

The radio station has over 4,000 which is actually rather impressive for a radio station in America. Sirus Radio have also played 'Not Giving Up' in the US. :o

So in other words, they are having plays everywhere else apart from where they are known
At this point, i'd be very happy if 'Not Giving Up' could sell 28k in its opening week, it should be able to go top ten with that. If Gentleman can open with 29.8k, only 6k behind what Little Mix opened with at number 6 this week, 'Not Giving Up' might just make the top 10. Number 10 only needs to sell around 24k.

I'm not sure, there are #5 entries that have performed much better on pre-orders over The Saturdays' and I doubt that Aloe Blacc, John Legend and Route 94 will be out of the top 10 in 2 weeks time.

I'm predicting #13 with it's midweek being #07.

Hiii new to this forum :)

I really hope the girls promote NGU properly. I want them to go on Daybreak,This Morning and those other daytime tv shows and also maybe Graham Norton as its back this week? Also think they should do radio interviews on Capital, Kiss, Radio 1 etc (maybe another live lounge? Thats probably doubtful though). I'd love them to get a performance on The Voice but that doesn't look likely even though they have the Marvin link :(

Where do ye think they will be promoting it?

Welcome! I agree with all of above. Though I doubt they'll get love lounge because bloody R1 have Snubbed them.

Welcome to the forum :cheer:

I completely agree with all your points - you're going to be fab here!
