Will give this a listen - their second album was pretty good and I like what I'm hearing from the new single (80s pop vibe), is this the fourth LP?

Not as good as umm... 'Still Life'. I like it but it's just decent (at least for now).

Yes, that's who it is!

I think it sounds like a cross between Simple Minds/a Flock of Seagulls and Giorgio Moroder's synths on Donna Summer's "I Feel Love".

Everything's fine up until the chorus.

It's all chugging along nicely and I'll even forgive the blatant 80s stadium rock chords.

 

But that chorus is one of the dampest squibs I have ever heard.
