Only done 44K today.

What I find odd is that G.R.L.'s new video for Ugly Heart (which is amazing btw ) was released a day after the WAYWF video and only garnered just over 4,000 views in the first hour, yet now it's got 700,000, but The Sats got like 30,000 in the first hour and have 170,000 more subscribers and their video is struggling to reach 300,000.

Apparently Britney tweeted GRL's video, plus aren't they an American/international group? - not just predominantly British. Louder by Neon Jungle has been around for a month and has still not hit 1million. I'm still expecting WAYWF to start to jump

up on the weekend.

Yeah it's done exactly 46,570 from morning to morning views which is a 52% drop from Day 2

Day 3 comparisons:

WBU - 310,000

Disco Love - 180,000

NGU - 130,000

WAYWF - 46,000

Day 3 was a weekday for all of them but I'm sure NGU and DL had promotion banners. I haven't seen one for this yet

On 256k now.

What did it finish on at midnight?

I remember NGU jumping up on Friday evening on day 3 with the weekend effect. Hopefully the same happens tomorrow night!

hopefully, especially with WAYWF being such a good weekend song, people will wanna replay it :)

 311,244 views.

No real big effect from it being the weekend like NGU had on its Friday evening.

It needs more views! It was revealed recently that R1 look at YouTube views when playlisting.

It is weird that it's getting such shit views, especially when the fifth single from a flop album had a million in a week.

Maybe it's just not very appealing to anyone? Or have any replay value?

They've apparently changed they way youtube views count.

You now have to watch from beginning to end for the view to count and also you cannot have it on mute or that does not count either.

Also, it's not been playlisted on any radio station at all yet nor has it had any TV appearances or been promoted by vevo.

Give it time and remember that Youtube views do not guarantee success nor do they guarantee failure - NOT GIVING UP - Case in point.

Don't they give a good idea for TV Airplay (I think)

They won't anymore though, especially if views are being controlled more strictly.

To be fair Neon Jungle's Louder has been up for a month now and has not even hit 1 million yet despite being playlisted on lots of stations. When did the rules change James? Do you have a link. That's interesting!

GRL's video was also featured on YouTube's homepage.

If that's true then that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. This means that newer videos will never stand a chance of reaching the amount of views that older videos have. So much for them ever getting another 10 million or even 5 million video.

I've only watched the video twice though in nearly a week. I think I'd watched 'Not Giving Up' about 20-30 times by now. It's a great video for what it is but nothing for me to keep going back to it.
Same with me. It's a nice video and the girls look great and there's a few good moments but there's nothing really happening. In fact this is probably one of the only times I've failed to have a Sats new video on repeat all week!

I thought you absolutely loved the video??

Me? I always said it summed up the girls friendship perfectly and Una's hairlip was awesome but I never once said I absolutely loved it. It's a nice video, nothing wrong with it, just nothing we didn't see before with Missing You and What About Us.
