She doesn't seem to be credited on it though so it's arguable whether that should count.

Next you'll be telling me that "110%" and "If You're Never Gonna Move" shouldn't count as separate T75 hits. :P

At least I count 'Adorn' as a hit for her! :P I think I'm sadly going to have to not credit her on 'Peppermint' unless an album by Julio Bashmore materialises and credits her.

(this is all very important obvz)

^ I'm hoping 'Aaliyah' will be Katy B's new single and it manages to go top 40 to finally break the Jessie Ware curse. Probably won't happen though.

Aaliyah was already a single last year I think, it just wasn't up for download. I say this because lots of radio stations and clubs were playing it.

Not to say it couldn't get released again, but I think it's unlikely, and if it did I'm not sure how well it'd do. Maybe a lot of the pop audience don't know the song though.

What on earth are Wilson Phillips doing back in the top 100?

That song is mostly known in the UK for its use in the film Bridesmaids, I know that had a prime time TV showing during the week as a lot of people were talking about it.

Nina Nesbitt no58....imagine if she had stayed at no1 as midweek figures suggested. That would've been the biggest drop from number 1 ever surely!!

The previous record is Christina Aguilera's Bionic which went 1-29, so she would have exactly doubled that.

Interesting fact about Sophie Ellis-Bextor, since Read My Lips she had previously spent a total of 6 weeks in the top 75 across all the albums up until Wanderlust. Wanderlust has now spent 6 weeks, equalling that total.

Go easy on me as I'm a first time poster. Why is this the first week that Happy's weeks on charts corresponds with the OCC version of 15 weeks? Earlier posts on this forum have been a week behind (w/e 1/3 showed 13, for example). The OCC version showed a "debut" at 71 w/e 7/12 but was already showing "2 weeks" so I assume its proper debut was below 100 w/e 30/11. Any thoughts?

Hey there.

You are correct, OCC count weeks Top 200 and "Happy" debuted at #155 on 30/11 - the week before it climbed to #71.

That song is mostly known in the UK for its use in the film Bridesmaids, I know that had a prime time TV showing during the week as a lot of people were talking about it.

Thanks - knew there had to be a reason. Seems to be a big thing for cheesy power ballads at the moment (c.f. Starship)!

The top 100 is always posted as a direct copy of the OCC's to begin with and I update it later in the week (usually on Monday if I remember) so the weeks figure is correct for the top 100. The number of weeks on the OCC website is for the top 200 and also doesn't include weeks prior to 1994 which leads to some old songs re-entering but having only one week on the chart according to the OCC. So 'Happy' will be put back down to 14 weeks in the first post shortly as it only has 14 weeks top 100, but 15 weeks top 200 (hence it saying 15 on the OCC website).

Lana Del Rey is finally out of The Top 100 Singles..After 32 weeks..Do we know if "Summertime Sadness" has spent the most weeks in the Top 100? Or "Video Games" was more weeks inside The Top 100 (I meant consecutively).
