02 Typical - you're not a fan of two of my favourites and your favourite, 'If Only', is my least! :lol: I hope they grow on you soon. Which song do you think would make the best follow-up single?

 

05 Drivel? :o Admittedly her recent output is not at all in the same league as the tracks from It's Not Me, It's You but I still think the singles have been very good! This is the closest sounding record from this era that sounds like the stuff from that album, hopefully there will be some more to come too.

 

16 We're in agreement about one thing then! :wub: Yeah, the choruses are all great, I can recall them all quite well already. Very strong album, even though I was expecting something a little different (i.e. more on the lines of 'Skirt').

It's worth a listen if you liked her previous two studio albums. A lot of summery, uplifting pop. :wub:

 

Yeah I know what you mean, I've enjoyed all of Lily's music from this album so far but it's definitely a bit of a step down from It's Not Me, It's You. I read on Digital Spy a week or two ago that Lily thought there were much better tracks on the album than the singles so hopefully that's a good sign (I agree I'm not totally convinced by the title Sheezus - a tad pretentious, perhaps?).

 

'Hey Now' may get a boost at some point - in the past 'Wasting My Young Years' went 36-35-07- and 'Strong' went 14-11-01- so there's still hope!

I found the first half of the album not as good as the second half, which is quickly becoming one of my favourite halves of any Kylie album :D

02 Yeah it is a shame, especially when the main reason it missed out was the decision the highest selling version from iTunes. Still, with its big fall this week, it doesn't really make a different now. Hopefully the album can do reasonably well, Kylie seems to have good promo starting to be lined up in upcoming weeks so that may help.

 

03 'If Only' is still my least favourite at the moment. My favourites are spread among the album so there's not really a half I prefer, which is the same for all her albums that I'll often go back to.

 

04 I think it still has a chance of doing so, but even if it doesn't, Christina's known for her longevity so I don't think it will disappear anytime soon. ;)

 

05 This has been more instant to me than 'Air Balloon' was, but as you can see that's been quite consistent since. Yeah, I'm not sure what's happening with 'Our Time', seems to have been treated more like a promo single rather than an official one.

 

19 I've only heard it once and I wasn't too keen to be honest. 'Can't Rely On You' was my favourite in fact. Such a shame as her first two are beautiful.

 

26 I'm wanting it to take a decent climb as I do love HAIM's music, but for some reason it's not taking off. Much like 'Forever' didn't.

 

35 Like I say, it's my least fave so you should be so lucky! ;)

 

Hey Liam, I've not heard Kylie's album yet but I'm going to have to give it a listen. Is there anything with as high a quality as Into The Blue on there?

Hi! :D I'm guessing you may have heard it now, but yes there is definitely stuff as good as 'Into the Blue'. What I like about this album is that everyone has their favourites and it can differ a lot between fans.

02 I think I'm the only person that's not so much of a fan of 'If Only'! :P It's good but by no means one that screams out to me. I like 'Sexy Love' but again not one of my favourites. I agree her album is consistently high-quality, so many tracks that I love to hear individually. :wub:

 

05 I still think it's going to take a miracle to top her previous album but yes, this is definitely another great single from Lily. I think 'Our Time' is the closest sounding record we've heard so far to the material from It's Not Me, It's You so that's one reason why I've taken to it so well. I do hope it can be successful if it get the proper single treatment but so far it seems to be more of a promo single.
