Looks like I'm the only one genuinely excited about a suprise release by Colbie Cailat then. She is a great singer and a lot more well known than her modest chart sucess and this thread would have people believe. Off to iTunes now to investigate what she has actually released....

Most people out there wouldn't even know if Colbie Caillat was a man or a woman.
LMAO. She's in NO way huge in the US. I mean come awn. Just one Top 10 hit and it was Bubbly which was released in... 2007. 2 million likes on Facebook v Beyoyo's 62. But even if you don't take chart success into account... WHO CARES ABOUT COLBIE FUCKING CAILLAT IN 2014.

I do :(

I loved 'Bubbly' back in the day... but yeah, pretty much unaware of anything else she's done (well, I tried listening to a couple of other singles she released and they did nothing for me).
'Lucky' by Colbie and Jason Mraz is a tuuuuune
She could release the week before Xmas, and still have the years best-seller by a mile - she'd certainly annihilate Oasis's one-week sales record!

*Three day record

She still wouldn't though.

"Falling for you" is my favourite song of hers. I also like "Bubbly, "Brighter than the sun" and her collaboration with Schiller "You". The latter is very atmospheric song.

Ahhh the two who covered Britney's Lucky!

No. It's a complete different song!

 Keep dreaming.

One of my favourites, still listen to it 5 years down the line.

Surely it must be something more exciting than this? Beyonce is a huge name at the moment, I've never even heard of Colbie.

It was U2. Their new album Songs of Innocence is now available on iTunes after they played at an Apple event.

The album is free until the 13th of October

COMPLETELY different to what everyone was predicting! It does make me laugh at how much of an anti-climax it was, even though U2 are huge in the music industry!
