Follow-up to 2011's El Camino, The Black Keys will release their 8th album True Blue on May 12th in the UK and May 13th in North America. So glad they've finally brought new music out, we'll see if they can maintain the hype they've built over the past decade.

Fever is the lead single:


^not as much punch as Tighten Up, Lonely Boy etc. but after three listens I am hooked

"Fever" will hopefully grow on me, I'm glad they didn't make a "Lonely Boy" clone but it doesn't seen that infectious on first listen.

I must say Fever didn't grab me at all on first listen. Hoping for better from the album.

Seems I'm the only one loving 'Fever' then! Haha. Like Charlie says, good it's not a 'Lonely Boy' clone, they could've so easily done that.

Can't wait for this album, they always deliver.

 

I see they've confirmed they're playing Glastonbury this year 👌👌👌

I'm really liking Fever too actually! It's not as good as Lonely Boy obviously but I've really taken to it, can't wait for the album.

I love "Lonely Boy" and it's one my favourite rock songs in the last years. But i just listened their new song. I think that it will grow on me. They have nice music.
