Goodness, I expected the song to do badly (as in, low top 40 both in the US and the UK) but not AS badly as it's doing.

People can't buy what they're not hearing. Her hardcore fans have it on the album and it's getting next to no airplay. I've seen it on music channels once or twice but definitely not regularly and she doesn't have the hype she once had.

 

Give this song a Radio 1 playlisting and then we're talking a low top 40 hit but she hasn't got anything apart from a video. Gaga's not the huge name she once was and can't rely on shoving a video out on YouTube from an already existing album. It may have worked then, but not now and it's not her fault if channels don't get behind her. I don't think it's a disaster, they can just completely brush over it like it never happened and move on, I doubt she's even THAT bothered.

This has left the hot 100 :(

The biggest problem with this release was the secrecy. No-one knew what the single was, if it was a single and suddenly she puts an 11 minute movie on Youtube.
