apparently Adele is doing a surprise album release... ANYTIME except the 11th August would be great!

You mean ANYTIME after the 18th (the day Finest Selection charts at number one :kink:), as we all know how long Adele likes to spend with her dearly beloved number one spot, don't we?

Well it certainly sorts out the number one album for the rest of the year and half of next year :kink:

Difference is Adele knows how to run an album campaign and release (mostly...) the right singles. Girls, take note!
Please let's not compare The Saturdays to Adele. Completely different artists. Even if Adele released a poor single and got snubbed by radio (as if) she'd probably still sell about a million copies of her album.

Hi guys, I'm from Australia.

Is there anyway I can get that Super Deluxe version online with the DVD and B-Sides sent to Australia?

Or will the Sats website do UK only?

Cheers

The deluxe box set including the b sides is very expensive considering it includes no new tracks. Shame there are no remixes either. A remixes CD would have been fantastic as many are not available on CD unlike the b sides which are featured on most of their cd singles.

Another quick question sorry.

If I had a UK adress to send it to, how long would it take to get there if it comes out on the 11th (Monday)?

You'd probably get it on the day, but might even get it early.

Thanks, I've got family in the UK coming home later that week, might get it sent to them and they can bring it with them. :)

But are people even interested in the remixes? I don't know, I'm sure not. The All Fired Up Tour dvd and an "unreleased songs"cd would've been a perfect addition, but I think they would give too much away with those unreleased songs it would've been nice though.

does Amazon contribute much to chart sales? the album is #614 on their digital chart and #1460 on their physical chart. But I'm not sure how much Amazon contributes. #614 could be <10 sales I don't think it's as popular as iTunes
Amazon is arguably the biggest physical retailer now but that feat for digital sales likely lies with iTunes.
Richard & Adam released a Christmas album and it didn't even go Top 20. even Leona Lewis managed a Top 20 with her Christmas album.

The Christmas market is saturated hence why they debuted low, heck even Britney Jean would've debuted in the top 10 if it was released during the first quarter or so (it debuted at #7 on the download charts so yeah, in before anyone says otherwise).

Hope it can get decent first week sales!

Yeah, I'm feeling that they won't be big competition to be honest. Gaslight Anthem might provide a little bit of competition but even they are at #871 on itunes while Saturdays are currently #477. I think the biggest competiton might actually be Magic!, who are released the week before. But all, in all. I think the girls MIGHT actually have this.

Loveable Rogues are out of the top 1,500 in true Living For The Weekend Style, btw.

I think this is going to debut very high, even with just the hardcore fans buying the 4 different versions of the album available!
