Maybe the swearing is on the explicit single-only version.
I'm just going to put it out there that I think the 'Fight like an animal, bang like a cannibal' was originally 'F*** like an animal, bang like a cannibal' XD

 Probably. I don't understand the "bang like a cannibal" line. Are cannibals known for banging?

Both tracks are great as I expected. I do prefer WTTD at first lesson though and I think it would make a better single. 808 is far too generic to me and that clearly isn't working for them. I think Rochelle has solidified her position as lead singer this time around.

I actually much prefer WTTD, 808 is good but a bit too basic and generic (I say as I'm still stanning WAYWF...), but it might just need a few more listens. I do think they chose the right single though, neither of these two would do any better, or even as well as, WAYWF. Walking In The Desert is a nice change for them I think, it is very much like a John Newman song except obviously all the better for the lack of his unbearable voice.

Surely I'm not the only one not feeling the vocal tuning on WTTD? Don't get me wrong, I find it much better than '808' but at least the production on the latter sounds really good, albeit generic.

I hope it's just a case of the songs not being properly in HQ just yet. I can't wait for the Irish leak, though.

I prefer Walking Through the Desert. 808 is fine, but it's a bit 30 Days in the sense that it's nice, but it doesn't add anything fresh or particularly great to their discography.

By the way, I made my own Una cover :yahoo:

It's funny that it doesn't really matter how cheap the lettering looks, as they did such a bad work with the original.

That's utterly brilliant  I love that cover

With a couple of listens I can kind of see what you mean! Vocally it sounds a little bit demo-y but the instrumental is fine, which sounds odd to say

Yeah the production is nice, but the vocals doesn't seem properly mixed or tuned to make them sound like studio vocals? I'm still waiting for the actual HQ version before making a final judgement. However, I love the track nonetheless.

^ I saw that on the designers website. I don't think it's real, it's just demonstrating what it might look like at a train station?

Hopefully they will put some posters up around. Would be great to see some on the tube. 'Finest Selection: Greatest Hits' would need to be bigger.

I see it now, never seen a poster looks so clear and bright before :P Damn I was getting excited about the fact that their management was doing something about promotion :(
