I think you are the real Kylie! ;)

This release basically has nothing going for it, the best we can hope for next week is a lowly top 100 or top 75 entry due to the fans.

It wasn't exactly going to ever do much anyway, but the label have truly dropped the ball by releasing it so soon before the video is even ready. Idiots.

I totally agree with releasing the video on release week but it would be better on the Sunday... it is like a TV appearance promo and would get premiere status and media attention on the right week....... however the video is cheap and basically just her Logies performance on a video.... hardly anything new, but will get a few sales in the right week..... I am hoping she has more TV promo sun-mon or tues... even if just a interview and a video clip...... lets see........

releasing the video now would mean a couple of sales as it is getting no radio play and seeing as it is Friday better release it Sunday... It is not that the video isn't finished... its that they are trying to make an instant sales impact ....... the video was probably finished a day after filming , its hardly high tech!!! plus the video had lots of negative publicity so they are probably trying to get that banished too

I Was Gonna Cancel is A-listed from tomorrow on BBC Radio 2 which is a little treat... I am sure Chris Evans, Ken and Steve Wright etc will plug it correctly.

What they should be doing is having the release/impact week at least 3 weeks after the video has premiered, it's as simple as that.

They have cocked up. It's not even 2 months since the last single.

but it wouldn't have had an impact... it would have sold 50-100 copies a week.... and I would rather have 300 copies in release week to boost its chart position, however low it will be... only Radio 2 is playing it.... she needs everything combined in one week to try and get it noticed..... and then I am still hoping she will get on BGT the week after lol.....

Good News.... Kylie is on The One Show on Monday..... that's at least 2 TV appearances next week on release week. Will the One Show be her Video premier?!?!?!?!

Also singing on the French Voice final tomorrow........

I don't think that's particularly a problem since 'Into the Blue' has long been forgotten outside of Kylie's fanbase.

same here... they need to keep the album going a little and she will soon be doing USA promo and then Voice live in Australia so needs to do some promo in UK first. and I think The One Show is an excellent booking early in week then Alan Carr on Ch4 later etc..... hoping it can go top 50 now :)

Yes... because she free to do what they want now and not trying to fit things around The Voice etc.

CD single sold out and physicals bundle sold out.... that's 3,000 unit sold.... hopefully 1k in the UK?!??!

I reckon at least 2,000, considering it's the UK store, in £ and her fanbase is mainly in the UK

I hope so... but not sure... I know a lot of superfans around the world would want to collect......

Now the UK fans just need to purchase that damn album version and somehow get it noticed on ITunes ready for her TV performances next week!!!!!

No, but it means they've rushed the release of the second single and not put any effort or thought of a decent strategy.
