I disagree that she won't do well with anything...All the lovers was only out 4 years ago and sold reasonably well so its possible she can have a hit.

4 years is a lifetime in pop, she had lots more support with that single and was in a stronger position.

Unfortunately in the 2010s it seems we're a lot hotter on our 'flavours of the month', she is essentially a popstar from the last generation now as far as the public are concerned but at least she has her strong loyal fanbase.

AND she had a human orgy mountain and giant elephant balloon, that really helped :magic:

I agree 4 years is a while but Kylie was still a pop star from the last generation in 2010. The only difference now is she has been going a few years longer. ATL is proof she can bounce back if she releases a decent enough song which attracts radio support.

i understand she is seen as last generation star but i dint think thats all to blame. as a huge fan i will admit the kiss me once era is underperformjng as its not strong enough.all the lovers showed she can still have big hits and that is among her biggest hits but it was a strong single, yes its become harder for her to have hits but a killer single is all she needs and sadly kiss me once has none of those. Les sex is the best on the album that has a shot of top 15 but i bet they wont release it. I really thjnk kylie needs to collaborate with the avicii's abd guettas for a single to bring her to a new audience.

I agree with a lot of your comments. She needs a killer single and ATL was a strong song, its outsold every other Parlo single apart from Can't get you out of my head. I don't think les sex would do well, in fact I can't see any other songs doing great off kiss me once. Maybe if she rereleases the album and includes new tracks but parlophone abandoned Aphrodite after only 3 singles and that had a lot more potential than KMO. I think its time she moved record company and started somewhere fresh.

Surely the fact that only ATL was an actual hit showed that Aphrodite didn't have alot of potential in it.
I think the streamlined promotion hasnt helped, had the promotion all tied in together Into the Blue would have been top 10. Its hard to know what label would suit Kylie now,i had high hopes with something big for this era with the change of management but it has made no difference at all. I think the biggest mistake with Kiss Me Once it like body language it seems to be aimed at the American audience and Kylie should know by now that it just does work. Kylie should always stick to pop as her pure pop tracks that do well and thats what people want from her.

She needs to work with Pitbull tbh

"MR. WORLDWIDE! REDONE! PRINCESS OF POP, MISS KYLIE MINOGUE! DALE!"

Its not the pure pop that she does brilliantly. On a more positive note i really liked the Greham Norton into the blue performance,

I prefer her to work with Calvin Harris.

She worked at Calvin Harris at the wrong time, it was before he was huge, so working with him now would be great and together they would achieve a top 5 hit minimum.
She needs to never go near Calvin again, the songs they did together are all awful.

But you love 'In My Arms'! :D

Probably only if it was Calvin Harris Feat. Kylie Minogue.

This is a pure pop album though...

It's not like she's gone R&B or done an album of club bangers.

But she kind of has? The duet with Enrique, Mr President and the very existence of Sexercise screams "can I just break America already?"

That said I really like the album and glad they changed up the single.
