Posted April 4, 201411 yr I think this song deserves a pop forum topic as well as a discussion in the Eurovision forum as it is being released like any other single after all! So Molly who, aside from being the UK's 2014 Eurovision representative, is probably most well-known from being part of Stunt! who featured on Sash!'s top 10 single 'Raindrops (Encore Une Fois)' a few years ago. Molly will be releasing her Eurovision single 'Children Of The Universe' on April 28th and future singles and an album are expected to follow after Molly's recent announcement that she has signed to Warner Records! It is a fantastic song and it would be great if this could reach top 40 when released at the end of April. She will be performing the song on the Graham Norton show which will be shown on 2nd May! The official audio for the song is below: b8540bYBqAM And watch the live performance of the song here: fFqYbibLh8k
April 4, 201411 yr She will be performing the song on the Graham Norton show which will be shown on 2nd May! Doesn't even mention the Final of Eurovision Song Contest! Oh RYAN what a flop Graham Norton >>>>>>> Eurovision so xenophobique
April 4, 201411 yr Love this song! Hope it charts well, it sounds like it could be a hit regardless of Eurovision if it got airplay support. But won't it be available on 14th April to download from the Eurovision album? Unless they make it album only until 28th April.
April 4, 201411 yr Author Doesn't even mention the Final of Eurovision Song Contest! Oh RYAN what a flop  I like to think everyone is already aware of when it is happening even though I know they don't! Love this song! Hope it charts well, it sounds like it could be a hit regardless of Eurovision if it got airplay support. But won't it be available on 14th April to download from the Eurovision album? Unless they make it album only until 28th April. It's a shame Radio 1 will ignore it, but at least Radio 2 should play it a few times at least! There are usually several tracks that are "album only" on the Eurovision album so it is likely 'Children of the Universe' will be one of them this year.
April 4, 201411 yr That studio version is seriously underwhelming. :( Her voice sounds very strained and it sounded like it had SO much potential in that live performance. It's not bad by any means but I expecting something better.
April 4, 201411 yr Author While I love the studio version, the live performance really adds something to the song. Seeing as Eurovision is a live music contest, I guess that's the main thing! :D
April 9, 201411 yr Author According to the official website, 'Children of the Universe' will be Radio 2's record of the week next week! :D
April 15, 201411 yr Author The single version of this has been released already rather than on the original release date of April 28th. I assume this is because the song is already available on the Eurovision compilation so there is no point in waiting to release a single version later. Also a lyric video has been released: VM5LWh_x-CM
April 16, 201411 yr Really getting back into this song in a big way again. It's so good and if this doesn't go at least in the top half of the leaderboard at Eurovision, then I may have to cut a bitch or two.
April 23, 201411 yr Posted this in the UK Eurovision thread but as this is a thread on the song too i may as well post it here: OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO! SCnBZwm4wqQ Best MV in the competition! GO MOLLY!
April 23, 201411 yr Author As I said in the Eurovision thread, really love the video and the scene with the drums emphasise the beat in the song's production brilliantly!
May 2, 201411 yr The scott mills remixes are fantastic. Anybody know if the record company are releasing this on CD and if so, where will it be available? Thanks
May 3, 201411 yr I said this in her Eurovision topic - but there is no way this chick is 27. She looks about 47. She could stand in as Sarah Jessica Parker's double. :kink: But I do like the song - I hope it does well, but not too well... I have money on a Sanna win... Edited May 3, 201411 yr by Aaron.
May 3, 201411 yr Been a Eurovision fan since Puppet On A String won. This, with no hype at all in this statement, is the best UK entry. Ever! Molly to win!
May 26, 201411 yr Author This was just played during Coronation Street! :o I couldn't believe it!
