Oh no. Grrrr.

Well I'm not religious but I'll definitely be praying to the pop gods that WAYWF gets playlisted on Wednesday.

498 The Saturdays Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits (Deluxe)

775 The Saturdays What Are You Waiting For? - EP

(Loveable Rogues out)

Singles out the same week:

374 Kiesza Giant In My Heart (Probably going to number 1, or highest new entry)

1043 T.I. No Mediocre (feat. Iggy Azalea)

263 Rizzle Kicks Tell Her (In iTunes Hip Hop)

What Are You Waiting For - Not in pop.

It's exactly 4 weeks until release. The album is doign reasonably well, and will hopefully be added to the iTunes 'pre-orders' batch on Monday. The single NEEDS to start picking up now. If R1 playlists it on Wednesday I have every confidence it'll at very least outsell Disco Love.

I still don't get why they chose to release the album and single in the same week?
The reason why Kiesza jumped is because of the BBC Radio 1 listing her track of the day. Hopefully, The Saturdays can come close behind her on release week

I think it has been added to the pre-order section, I'm sure I saw it the other day

I don't get why it's jumping up and down so much on iTunes :/
It's because it's so low on the charts that even one or two sales can make a substantial difference in position. Each time it gets a play on TV it jumps 100 or so spots.
Yeah I think 2/3 pre-orders gets you into the lower regions of pop.
Hopefully the heavy rotation on the box will help WAYWF this week. It really needs to enter the actual 1,500 by mid week ideally.

I think this emphasises the power of social media - a couple of tweets to The Box has forced it to play it on heavy rotation. :D 4 music next please.

MORE FRANKIE >>>>>>>

I saw this on 4music and then MTV Hits in the same day yesterday!

Single still not in pop

Hopefully the single can make it into the iTunes 1,500 before Wednesday afternoon, as that's when Radio 1 have their playlist meetings.

T.I. and Iggy are releasing the following week now.

Good! So if they are to get playlisted and have a shot at peaking high, their biggest competition is Kiesza, Nico & Vinz from the week before and maybe Magic! from a few weeks before.

T.I and Iggy were never a real threat anyway.

Anything is a threat when they're charting at 19 ;)

Are they all still on holiday BTW?

I don't think T.I and Iggy will even go top 20, though. Urban songs don't do that well in the UK. T.I is much bigger in the US and even there 'No Mediocre' flopped. There's too much swearing on the chorus so it sounds messy on the radio/TV and it's not even getting much support. Probably go in at like #22 or something then dissappear. At best it'll do a 'Get Like Me'.

And I don't know if they're on holiday but Frankie must be getting married soon? She had her hen night recently...
