The fact that it falls after making a promising rise, TICKS me off! I'm still glad that the album is doing well and dandy

I do think it's ridiculous, if I'm honest. I mean, I'm not saying it should be #50 on iTunes, but really it should be #1300 (or whatever) in the ACTUAL top 1500...

 

However, I do believe most people will just go with the Greatest Hits. I mean, hey you could pay 0.99£ for the track only...or well 9.99£ (I think?) for the track and like 30 other songs (the Greatest Hits Deluxe, basically). It's a great bargain and I guess it would explain why the album is holding up alright unlike the single preorder.

That and I don't see the point of someone buying the single and then the album the next day when your gonna get the single with it anyways. I'd rather the album do well anyways

oooooh yay! Best news today :D

It's kind of tough with the album Vs single business because while higher album sales are more prestigious and give the record company more money, if you can't get your singles played and selling, there's no point of making another album, which is what we all want. This will sell well because it's Greatest Hits. But you can't do a Greatest Hits every year, sadly. So even if the album went to number 1 and went gold, I still wouldn't be able to predict what was next for the girls.

Greatest Hits - 453

The EP and album are holding up well (especially the album, which has been above Neon Jungle's album - out in two weeks, and their single has way more support - for at least a week now), which is weird when the single is doing so badly.

The Greatest Hits is full of stellar songs that people know.

 

The Saturdays are actually doing better than Rizzle Kicks in pre-orders and Rizzle Kicks song has actually been played a fair bit on Radio 1.
