If it isn't being played and they are out of promo I don't see how they will shift more copies?

There's no way it'll sell as much as work James!

There's no way it'll outsell Work, that's probably sold 110,000 or more by now!

I could definitely see 'NGU' becoming their lowest selling single, sadly. It's on course for a lower first week sale than MHTO and Gentleman, and I can't see the single having much better longevity in the charts than those two singles.

This is terrible. It deserves so much more than this!! :(

It's already sold a few thousand copies from being cherry picked on release week and a few weeks after, also I'm sure it would have sold a few extra copies on Amazon.

I guess it depends on how well it holds, it's still not dropping that quickly.

It's too good to be their lowest selling single :(

JSG, I think you're over-estimating Not Giving Up because of the quality of the song. There's just no way a song that isn't being hammered by promo or getting good airplay is going to do well. However, there are many, many amazing songs that don't even manage the top 100, so top 20 isn't too bad given the circumstances.

It wasn't me that it. It was Mr. C Joel.

Sorry! It definitely deserves to out-sell 'Not Giving Up' in all fairness.

I thought that performance would at least boost them to number #15. Eek.

This reminds me of Get outta my way by Kylie Minogue. People thought it would go number one but in the build up to it, bad management and awful airplay eliminated that :( I don't think Joel is wrong, it's just what he hopes and maybe it will scrape 80k, maybe it won't, we'll just have to see how it fares :(

I think 45k.

But I doubt management are worried, they've probably sold a fair few Greatest Hits albums through the tour bundle already.

At least it's rising still.

This time last week we'd have all been delighted with it hovering around #16/17!

Loose women got them in dark green again. I wonder if Radio 1 will play them in a minute. It could help.

The best hope is the 10 minute takeover

EDIT: Ooops. I forgot it's the chart update now! :D

I swear they're playing the album version?

They probably deleted the single edit off their system.

Weird, right? Well at least they're playing it.

When Mollie was on Radio 1 surgery on Sunday, they used the album version then as well.
