where did NGU get to with EP preorders?

#48. - It hung around quite nicely too. So it goes to show how little the EPs actually contribute to the chart.

I don't even think it got as high as this lol.

EDIT - oops.

I wonder if they'll do any promo of When Love Takes Over? If someone downloaded WLTO from the EP, does it count towards WAYWF sales?

It did actually, it took until like 8PM though.

No, it would count as a separate single if it was downloaded separately

what about the WAYWF remixes?

what about the WAYWF remixes?

each remix counts towards WAYWF, as does a sale of the EP as the whole.

I'm loving the great start on the EP side of it.

Fingers crossed it 1st) outpeak Not Giving Up's EP and 2nd) actually remains stable for a bit.

It's a shame the EP didn't quite out-peak NGU, but the single version is doing significantly better, and that's where the real sales are going to come from.

I feel like the EP release is always the thing that hinders the success of single pre-orders

Album: What Are You Waiting For - EP

#37 Portugal

#69 United Kingdom

#94 Ireland

#164 Norway

#195 Netherlands

Their EPs used to peak within the top 10 during pre-orders. Strange.

They did?

It's most likely because most people have pre-ordered the single rather than the EP but even then, it's onlt £1.99 and that should be quite tempting to most people. Hopefully it will stay around the top 100 for a bit.

Because of the EP release, the single version seems to have dropped a fair bit but has stabilized at around #700

POP CHART:

650. The Saturdays - What About Us (feat. Sean Paul)

707. The Saturdays - What Are You Waiting For?

#902 - What are you waiting for. :(

To be fair neither song got anywhere near as high as WAYWF so they still probably haven't had as many orders as the saturdays yet.

The TV video premier will be at sometime in the next few days (it's usually just over a week after it goes on YouTube). Even Not Giving Up managed to get to #22 in it's first week, so that might provide a boost for the girls. Especially given the summer vibes it gives.
