Here's the GH positions on ITunes. I've logged them at random intervals but it gives you a fair idea of how it's doing.

Very good, James! Very pleased with how well the album is doing!
The album is doing REALLY well. :o I'm actually shocked at how well it's doing.

It's had no promotion apart from to the fans on facebook. It hasn't even been advertised properly on iTunes yet. I would have thought SO MANY people have the tour edition, digital wouldn't appeal. Seriously think people are underestimating slightly in the predict tread! Wish the single was doing as well!

I genuinely think the album is gonna keep climbing until release week but I'm pretty sure the EP is gonna drop out the top 1500 until maybe a couple of weeks before release cause it's not holding up nearly as well. Once the album goes back to the top 100/200 the EP should climb again although if Playlisting does kick in this week everything could work out in their favour.
It doesn't even seem to be falling because of the standard version creeping up either which is a good sign. I think this is what everyone has been waiting for :kink: How ironic would it be if the album smashed and the single flopped though. Talk about a role reversal.

Problem with the album doing well initially (and single flopping) is that there's nothing getting played on the radio or TV channels to keep the album selling the next weeks and months. It will probably do well in it's first week but plummet unless radio jump on the single or else they just promote the shit out of their past hits on TV performances.

Which is what they are likely to do regardless.

My guess is they'll be performing What About Us, Disco Love, Ego, Higher and Notorious for their TV Performance and obviously What Are You Waiting For.

I'd rather they just performed the new single, tbh.

I agree Notorious should be used as it's close to certification - the "issues" addicts will disagree though -_-

Me too. I was so annoyed when Girls Aloud wasted so much promo on Love Machine, when Something New was stuggling.

I think they should do as many performances of WAYWF as possible. And maybe some hits a bit later on if they can.

581 The Saturdays Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits (Deluxe)

974 The Saturdays What Are You Waiting For? - EP

WAYWF not in pop.

albums released the same week that are in the top 1,500:

822 FKA twigs EP2

833 Loveable Rogues This and That

1230 Alex Clare Three Hearts

Still not in Pop and the album/EP have taken a tumble this morning.

Has anyone else noticed how little "likes" and shares they get on Facebook? They posted What About Us earlier as a countdown to their Greatest Hits and it got like 400 "likes" and about five shares. It's very, very poor. Other artists get thousands of "likes" and hundreds of shares and people commenting but having The Saturdays on your Facebook is like your unpopular friend making statuses and it's cringey to witness the lack of f***s given by the public.

they get the most likes when it's not music related, I've noticed. Like if Mollie posts a selfie.

EP - OUT

Single - NOT IN POP.

There's little hype regarding them and it's an abomination that the single is not top 1500 on iTunes. It's getting enough TV airplay for it to be top 1,500. It's all rather embarrassing and i'm sure 'Not Giving Up' was doing better at this point.

Not Giving Up didn't re-appear in pop until less than 2 weeks before release. So it it's doing a LITTLE bit better. Still pretty abysmal though for a quality lead single.

Maybe they just don't have the type of fanbase who will pre-order songs? Weak excuse I know but their EP's ALWAYS did well on iTunes and ever since this "single pre-order" thing started, they haven't really done well with it. Disco Love opened on 50K with shit pre-orders for example.
Shadow, you're right, they do usually do better than people's pre-orders would suggest. No other artist would manage a #19 with the state of NGU's pre-orders to be fair. but it still should be doing A LOT better than this.

Their in the same boat as Lily Allen and Pixie Lott who usually have very high EP sales in contrast to very low single pre orders
