807 The Saturdays What Are You Waiting For? - flirting with the idea of the top 1,500.

Dat minor Hollyoaks boost.

I wouldn't mind it being reduced to 59p. It put Neon Jungle up massive on pre-orders and even that's struggling to go top10. Steaming might help The Saturdays as people may choose to stream the album during release week! I don't think the album will go to #01 now as it would not to be top 300 on iTunes by now.

OMG I always get excited when it climbs.

edit - it's scary though because Cher Lloyd was doing better than them on pre-orders and is currently just inside the top 30. :(

They're doing the exact same as Cher Lloyd. The advantage for them is that it went #102 in pre-orders unlike Cher. Cher never entered the main top 1500 on iTunes until 4 days before release.

They will almost certainly be somewhere in 1,500 within a week, steadily, I'm sure of it. Cher Lloyd did similarly to Not Giving Up..

The Sats seem to do better than pre-orders suggest anyway.

Disco Love was #200 before release and went #5, even though #200 would usually suggest low top ten. Not Giving Up was #730 before release which would usually suggest low top 40, but it went to #19.

Wasn't there no single preorder for 'Disco Love' or something like that? I forgot, but if I recall correctly, there was something wrong with that release

There was, it did *reasonably* (you know, for the saturdays) well, too. It was the first of their singles to have a single pre-order though, I think??

The Saturdays have a much larger and loyal fanbase. Even if it does awfully in pre-orders I think it will at least go top 20

Album and EP still gone.

Oh okay then what was wrong is that there was a single peorder for the first time.

Not that it's wrong now that I think about it ha.

Didn't All Fired Up have a single pre-order?
All Fired Up was actually rather weird - it was a single pre-order that was never visible on the iTunes chart it just randomly debuted at 20 at 1am.

Pop iTunes.
