Posted April 15, 201411 yr http://s7.postimg.org/9bb6mqfuz/artworks_000075889660_t9h2tu_crop.jpg For many years, I’ve wanted to make a song that straddles the line between indie/alternative rock and dance music. So when I met Matthew Koma and we started working on this song, I knew this was the right time. It may sound a little different from what you were maybe expecting to hear but I’ve always made the music I wanted to make. I’m incredibly proud and excited about this track! Expect the unexpected. #musicalfreedom http://po.st/WastedLyrics 3eApJGC02dA Sounding very different to 'Red Lights', it's basically an indie song but with dance production. Should easily be Tiesto's second UK top 10 hit and probably his highest peaking song to date. Check it out and tell us your thoughts!
April 15, 201411 yr Author ? What happened to the one with Icona Pop? I was looking forward to that. :( It's available to listen (in low quality) so I assume it's still part of the album but not the next single Y4GV7gMABEg
April 18, 201411 yr ...and probably his highest peaking song to date. Definitely. I really like this... A LOT!
April 18, 201411 yr Tiësto really has completely sold out now, hasn't he? Not a bad dance-pop track though. :)
April 24, 201411 yr It's a grower, reminds me of Martin Garrix at times in the instrumental though (not a bad thing).
May 12, 201411 yr Don't like it as much as "Red Lights" (one of my songs of the year) but I still love this. Glad it's not an exact copy.
May 12, 201411 yr I do like this a lot more than 'Red Lights' as this feels a bit more inspired whereas in 'Red Lights' (which I did like too) it felt like the instrumental breakdown was just there and didn't really add anything to that song.
May 12, 201411 yr ^^ Me too. This is better than 'Red Lights' but that's not saying much. 'Battleship Grey' is still my fav. of his
May 13, 201411 yr Why does the radio version of this say "NAKED", rather than "wasted"? Completely baffled, it's not like it's swearing or anything. I can see why the pre-order is doing a little poorer than I'd expected. :( Loving this track, it's much more inspired that 'Red Lights' (which was still good). I think the dance-crossed-with-Imagine Dragons sound works really well!
