I love the DJ Cassidy song :( It is so fun and catchy, at least it has an actual melody to it. Pleased for Neon Jungle as well, Welcome To The Jungle is one of my songs of the year :wub:. I adore them.

Cash Cash in the top 10 already is excellent, one of the best pop songs I've come across this year. Also rather pleased for Indiana getting success, even though it's not her absolute best. I haven't heard the rest of the new entries but that there are a lot of them is good, that's always nice to see.

I kinda expected more from CAH given the involved artists are capable of some amazing songs, but it's a great song. I really love Welcome To The Jungle though and Solo Dancing is fab, although I agree with the general consensus that she has better songs (Bound :wub:).

I hope that melody comment isn't meant to be a Mr Probz diss, I understand the 'boring' criticism but it does have a melody last time I checked!

I can't understand how people can't pick up the melody in songs like My Love and Feelin Myself. I'm wondering if maybe some people are simply unable to hear a melody when it's not the forefront of a song, or something like that, because I hear the melodies in those songs clearly, even though there's a lot of other things going on.

 

A song that has rhythm but only a subtle melody is MUCH better than all those songs which were all melody but no rhythm which we had a few years ago (I'm looking at you, Taio Cruz :coffee:).
