The Pogues :cheer: Guessing Mariah must not be in the top 100 then?

I'm sure she must be.

We can but hope, though I have a horrible and quite sickening feeling that it may be still to come.. :(

Love the Pogues though.

Coming seamlessly after California Gurls :D Nothing like hearing a Christmas song on the radio in April, then again, it's virtually impossible to dislike this whenever it's played

Those are my favourites too (along with, ashamedly, Last Friday Night haha!)

My Dad just questioned why The Pogues were on

OMG was so big and yet you never hear it anymore.

I do indeed forget about this these days, sounding just as forgettable and shite as it did back then - can't believe it was so big...

Sorry, I love Your Song. In fact I think it's my favourite from her.
It's just struck me how few songs from 2012-14 we've had so far! I thought they'd make up the majority!

Continuing the rather wintery theme with this pleasant song from dear old Ellie that featured on the John Lewis advert and was her first proper big hit - Indeed, I remember when her biggest hit turned out to be a cover, a few of us were already writing her off!

Another young lady that people perhaps didn't expect to properly blow up the second time around - for me (and many others I'm sure), this was definitely the song that won me round.

They are still to come in the Top 50!

Bruno's second era wasn't quite as big as his first, but he still didn't have a problem getting a big hit with this quite retro sounding number. It took a while to click...unfortunately then it was kinda ruined by the radio :'(

'Thrift Shop', like 'Mirrors', initially looked like being one of the big hits of 2013 but was ultimately massively overshadowed by Daft Punk / Robin Thicke / Avicii / Passenger / Naughty Boy and is now relatively forgotten! (In as much as an only-a-year-old big selling #1 can be 'forgotten' anyway).
