April 21, 201411 yr I used to adore California Gurls but it's not as amazing anymore, it's still great though. My fav 3 of hers would ne Teenage Dream, Dark Horse and ET
April 21, 201411 yr The Pogues :cheer: Guessing Mariah must not be in the top 100 then? I'm sure she must be.
April 21, 201411 yr The Pogues :cheer: Guessing Mariah must not be in the top 100 then? We can but hope, though I have a horrible and quite sickening feeling that it may be still to come.. :( Love the Pogues though.
April 21, 201411 yr 70. The Pogues feat. Kirsty Maccoll - Fairytale of New York (#3, 2005) {3}-5-12-41-63-46R(45)-23-10-6-13-33R(48)-12-8-4-9-62R(47)-44-19-13-12-19-58R(48)-31-18-18-12-75R(47)-51-27-26-19-17-47R(48)-23-15-13-13-68-53R(47)-27-15-18-12-32-53R(48)-16-15-14-24->49 j9jbdgZidu8 Coming seamlessly after California Gurls :D Nothing like hearing a Christmas song on the radio in April, then again, it's virtually impossible to dislike this whenever it's played
April 21, 201411 yr My fav 3 of hers would ne Teenage Dream, Dark Horse and ET  Those are my favourites too (along with, ashamedly, Last Friday Night haha!) --- My Dad just questioned why The Pogues were on
April 21, 201411 yr 69. Usher feat. Will.i.am - OMG (#1, 2010) 13-8-2-{1}-2-2-2-3-6-12-11-6-11-15-17-20-23-22-27-31-35-41-50-48-60-60-66-70-63-35-47-54-67->33 1RnPB76mjxI I do indeed forget about this these days, sounding just as forgettable and shite as it did back then - can't believe it was so big...
April 21, 201411 yr It's just struck me how few songs from 2012-14 we've had so far! I thought they'd make up the majority!
April 21, 201411 yr 68. Ellie Goulding - Your Song (#2, 2010) D9AFMVMl9qE 39-3-{2}-2-3-5-5-4-6-13-13-18-29-34-44-53-59-70-72-75R(6)-56-54R(3)-54-47R(12)-48-52->26 Continuing the rather wintery theme with this pleasant song from dear old Ellie that featured on the John Lewis advert and was her first proper big hit - Indeed, I remember when her biggest hit turned out to be a cover, a few of us were already writing her off!
April 21, 201411 yr 67. Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble (#2, 2013) vNoKguSdy4Y 23-27-53-47R(4)-24-13-11-8-7-5-{2}-4-3-4-9-12-6-6-10-14-17-17-22-28-39-41-47-56-69-61-52-59R(2)-71->33 Another young lady that people perhaps didn't expect to properly blow up the second time around - for me (and many others I'm sure), this was definitely the song that won me round.
April 21, 201411 yr It's just struck me how few songs from 2012-14 we've had so far! I thought they'd make up the majority! They are still to come in the Top 50! Bruno Mars "Locked Out Of Heaven" Sales: Approx. 786K.
April 21, 201411 yr 66. Bruno Mars - Locked Out Of Heaven (#2, 2012) e-fA-gBCkj0 {2}-9-2-2-3-5-6-4-8-10-14-16-23-22-26-25-21-24-30-28-33-38-48-49-41-46-60-56-49-63-66->31 Bruno's second era wasn't quite as big as his first, but he still didn't have a problem getting a big hit with this quite retro sounding number. It took a while to click...unfortunately then it was kinda ruined by the radio :'( Edited April 21, 201411 yr by Krusty Wombat
April 21, 201411 yr 'Thrift Shop', like 'Mirrors', initially looked like being one of the big hits of 2013 but was ultimately massively overshadowed by Daft Punk / Robin Thicke / Avicii / Passenger / Naughty Boy and is now relatively forgotten! (In as much as an only-a-year-old big selling #1 can be 'forgotten' anyway).
