I get the impression that ITV are pushing Rochelle.

I wouldn't mind if she became a presenter on The Xtra Factor - I'm sure she would be able to get The Saturdays' a slot on the live show. I'm rather glad that Amanda mentioned The Saturdays' rather than Little Mix :D

Wasn't she talking about how The Saturdays are all grown-up, but still able to achieve success (ahem  )? It wouldn't have worked with Little Mix. Aren't they like 17-18?

I usually quite like to filter vocals out of their songs because that's usually only then you're going to hear them harmonise properly and well I give a go to 'Please Mr. Postman'. I knew Mollie was leading the chorus but her vocals are so much clearer this way.

I love when she sings like that. She's been singing in her lower register (which I think she's more confortable with) way too much recently. She's all over the "ooooh"/"wait a minute" too.

Anyhow, I just think it's a nice little thing.

Edit: Both Jesy and Leigh-Anne are 22. This is what I don't understand, because by the end of this year they'll both be 23 and Frankie/Rochelle/Vanessa will be all 25 so I don't get how everyone thinks Little Mix are so much younger

It's because nobody realises that The Saturdays (bar Una) became successful at very young ages, and now they've been going for 6/7 years the majority think "oh they must be pushing thirty" when in actual fact some of them aren't even half way through their twenties.

As a group they had success at quite a young age but then when you look at Neon Jungle/Little Mix/Fifth Harmony they all have members who were around similar ages to the girls when they were formed so I don't think it's that. I just think the girls have sort of lost their magic since Higher and people think they're the new Girls Aloud or something ^_^

Simon was probably furious she never mentioned Little Mix.

Not if he's employing Rochelle soon (hopefully). :kink:

The girls are now ambassadors for Sheen watches. Going overload on extra stuff on the side lately!
are they not also ambassadors for a hair dye / shampoo company too?

I'm sure the exact same thing would happen to those other groups if they stuck around for seven years. Hype typically fades when you're this far into your career and you're only doing half-assed promo and making almost no effort to generate hype.
