May 6, 201411 yr I simply cannot stand the Dutch entry at all. Anything but a Swedish victory for me is a no-go.
May 6, 201411 yr Would have liked Estonia and Portugal instead of Russia and Montenegro. Happy for San Marino and Netherlands has really grown on me too!
May 6, 201411 yr I find it odd that Calm After The Storm could get so much hate, if anything it's surely not offensive enough in any way to be worthy of anything other than a shrug of the shoulders.
May 6, 201411 yr I think The Netherlands could very well be this year's 'Kedvesem' and get a top 10 by surprise for being so simple but effective. And Slayna number 1 with the betting! *.*
May 6, 201411 yr Netherlands a winner? I can't see it, despite it being professionally performed. Would be happy to see them in the top 10 again though, particularly as this is quite a bit better than Birds. It really feels so wide open after this. Whoever wins we won't see it coming (too much).
May 6, 201411 yr #175 on iTunes for Calm After The Storm, that's very good after just a semi performance. Could be a top 75 hit here then, Radio 2 could do worse than to pick it up.
May 6, 201411 yr Portugal won't be back. I hope youre right , Portugal should leave this contest for once, its ridiculous each year. Portugal will always be the Ugly Duckling of Europe, always, thats why the portuguese needs to turn their back to europe as they did in the past and it was when they had anything. May 6, 201411 yr The Netherlands seem to be flying up Irish iTunes right now as well which is fab to see! Really hope they come top 5.

May 6, 201411 yr Predict 01 Armenia: Aram mp3 - Not Alone 02 Latvia: Aarzemnieki - Cake To Bake 03 Estonia: Tanja - Amazing 04 Sweden: Sanna Nielsen - Undo 05 Iceland: Pollapönk - No Prejudice 06 Albania: Hersi - One Night's Anger 07 Russia: The Tolmachevy Twins - Shine 08 Azerbaijan: Dilara Kazimova - Start A Fire 09 Ukraine: Mariya Yaremchuk - Tick-Tock 10 Belgium: Axel Hirsoux - Mother 11 Moldova: Cristina Scarlat - Wild Soul 12 San Marino: Valentina Monetta - Maybe (Forse) 13 Portugal: Suzy - Quero ser tua 14 The Netherlands: The Common Linnets - Calm After The Storm 15 Montenegro: Sergej Ćetković - Moj svijet 16 Hungary: Andras Kalláy-Saunders - Running 8 out of 10, not bad. I had the Netherlands as borderline but I don't think anyone predicted San Marino to make it!
May 6, 201411 yr Author For my PINK POUND I reckon it'll be the following: 01 Sweden 02 Armenia 03 Ukraine 04 Hungary 05 Russia 06 Azerbaijan 07 Belgium 08 Netherlands 09 Montenegro 10 Portugal - 11 Estonia 12 Iceland 13 Moldova 14 Latvia 15 San Marino 16 Albania I'd say Sweden, Armenia, Ukraine and Hungary are all dead certs to go through. I'm fairly confident Russia and Azerbaijan will be through as well (particularly if the Aliyevs are still speed dialling from Estonia). I'd love Belgium to go out but I think there's enough vox there for the juries and enough saps out there to vote for it even though it's totally the MALE SUUS (but obviously not as fabulous). I think the juries will have the Netherlands through, but 8th through 14th up there for me feels totally interchangable. The only ones I'm really confident in saying they won't make it are San Marino and Albania, but even then neither feels like an obvious last placer. Montenegro will come down to whether it turns on enough juries and enough of the Balkan diaspora - I'm not keen to rule out a sound which has been popular before, even when you take out most of the Balkans. Portugal will come down to whether it gets the party vote. There's nothing else really like it in here in terms of light-heartedness, except maybe Iceland and Latvia, so I'm thinking it'll scrape through off the Solayoh voting audience. Estonia comes down to whether or not the juries raise their eyebrows at flagrant plagiarism, as I'm sure the voters will. She has vox though, which gives her a shot. Iceland feels like a potential surprise package, but this sort of thing hasn't really got a record for success. Moldova could've been in with a big shot had they kept the NF costume, but without it the song's just a bit of a dirge. Vox again, but is it enough? Latvia all depends on how the novelty vote deploys. It doesn't sound like jury bait, so it'll be relying on televoters, and we all know Latvia hasn't got the best form for that. A potential last placer, but it could go either way. Utterly AGOG at San Marino making it through, but really pleased it was at Belgium's expense in terms of the ones I was more confident would go through. 8/10! *.*

May 6, 201411 yr Now up to #131! Ahead of the 'Children of the Universe' from the compilation album too. And a second version at #300. I love how there's a song every year that makes no sense to me until the live performances, I can't believe I didn't see this coming :o
May 6, 201411 yr Author  Yeah, cos that was SUCH A DULL POST Just FUCK OFF! You only come here to PO-FACEDLY WHINGE about how BAD EUROVISION IS and how GREAT PORTUGAL ARE and post about nothing but the Portuguese entry and then go off on some HALF-MAD RANT about how terrible the contest is and how political it is and how biased it is to the east ('The East' neatly defined as ANYTHING EAST OF PORTUGAL) when Portugal INEVITABLY DO TERRIBLY EACH YEAR. Why? Why do you post so much about a contest you claim to loathe? Do you LITERALLY HAVE NO LIFE?
May 6, 201411 yr Common Linnets at #3 in Sweden now too. Of all the Eurovision songs to take the European charts by storm, this is among the last I'd have put any money on! :o
