I can't say it doing much either personally, I don't really feel like there's much hype around it. YET. There's time left yet though, and I may be letting my opinion of the song cloud my judgement. I can see a slightly better run than Boomerang as it stands but I do believe she's on Chatty Man tonight, so who knows, maybe it will start gathering hype when people are actually aware of it.

 

It doesn't sound like a big hit to my ears but then again, neither did Fancy, which I now adore and has blown up.

Am I the only one who can't stand when she adds in commentary throughout her performances? Like how many times do you have to shoutout Alan Carr? I think that type of thing is only acceptable during concerts and festivals, but maybe it's just me.

 

Looks like the performance helped her pre-orders a bit but the single is back out of the Top 400. I really hope airplay picks up.

It's funny that you all claim Nicole is far superior than boring Cheryl but in the end you always feel the need to compare Nicole to Cheryl, as if outstaging Cheryl was her ultimate goal in life. If Nicole is so amazing why don't you compare her to her fellow American colleagues instead like Beyoncé or Gaga?

I like Cheryl personally but she doesn't have "it" in the same way Britney does, Britney is just something else, a one of a kind. Cheryl's voice isn't even that bad though, nor is Britney's - they aren't exactly Whitney Houston and autotune can work magic but you do have to have somewhat of a good voice in the first place... But that's another matter entirely nothing to do with this single. In regards to Nicole, her material is about on par with Cheryl for me and they're both stunning, they both look like popstars and can dance, but Nicole has a much better voice. Cheryl must have something more though seeing as she's so much more popular, plus she's more of a big name so she sells herself really.

Yes they do. Every time Britney does a show, her vocal ability is mentioned.

I like Cheryl's music, I have all of her albums, I've seen her on tour etc.. and live she can hold a note.

Vocally, she can't hold a candle to Nicole and if you listened to them singing live at the same time.. The result would be laughable.

 

Really, I would like us all to move on from the whole Nicole vs Cheryl discussion.

I think it was a valid discussion point considering both of their connections to the X Factor and their similar release dates, but I agree that it is time to go back to just discussing Nicole's song now.

I wouldn't say Cheryl has the whole package - her performance on BGT was incredibly flat while Nicole has a much better presence.

 

Cheryl obviously has airplay on her side which is a great shame. Cheryl will continue gaining more airplay that Nicole , regardless of the quality of the song!

The performance of 'Your Love' on Chatty Man was fabulous.

I hope she tours this album, she's been amazing every time I've seen her live :wub:
