OOOH did this just drop now? I was listening to 'Younger' & the remix only yesterday (as i posted in the RECOMMENDATION thread) and was pining for more from her so this is wonderful timing :o

The Younger remix has been #1 on Norway's iTunes for a while now. Bodes well for a push elsewhere!

Second track to surface from one of my favourite pop acts this year... and when I say pop, I clearly mean the type of pop that's better suited to the alt forum. This one seems like another strong release to me, it keeps the production duties from Magnus Lidehäll and as such retains the ever changing structure that made me fall in love with first single Younger. Although this one has a more 'rootsy' feel to it in terms of inspiration - apologies for the term 'rootsy' but it has the feel of a remixed Nina Simone track to me.

 

It's currently set for release on itunes as early as 19 May and will be her first single release here in the UK as Younger never made it. Strange decision to choose this to launch her when the mix of Younger is taking off around Europe though.

Oh I did indeed! I must admit that I sort of assumed that she was the sort of act that would have been in alt (with, admittedly, Jake posting!)

"Younger" really grated on me for some reason, but this is a step up in the right direction. Really enjoyable!

Finding this a lot harder to get into than Younger but I suppose it's quite a lot less accessible. That said it is growing and is majorly giving me vibes of Moby's Natural Blues at the moment.

This is a complete tune.

Younger really didn't hit much of a chord with me.

Still such a good song. I never properly got into Younger, but this is much better imo

Don't think I've heard it - unless that was the one entered in Unknown Pleasures? But I do love a good Kygo remix so.. will def seek it out.

Seriously has anyone been able to get this Remix out of their head since it started airing from the House of Fraser christmas adverts?

 

I dunno why but every time it comes on it gets stuck in my head for like the next hour! Crazy to think it was released this time last year! I hope it could of done a Lily Allen John Lewis thing but i dont think it will/can now
