Toya is turning into such a stereotype :( She's a tiny bit like a mini Alexandra "memba I told ya" DeGale with her "let me tell you.

I'm actually warming to Danielle against my better judgement. This sounds horribly condescending to her but she sseems a bit naive and inept socially, endearingly so. Because of that she puts me in mind of Lauren Harries a bit, oddly

*shudders*

I can totally see that comparison though.

Why are they all hailing Ash as if he's Jesus or something? I seriously don't like him one bit, all I get from him is that he's a terminally dull arrogant twat. He's going nowhere for a while though because he's boring enough to avoid eviction votes and he's """"hot"""".

FUMING. The slug comments and the way she stopped as she passed Jale in that threatening way :/// what a vile, vile woman.

(as an aside this series is becoming one of the best in AGES - such a range of emotions developing every episode, it really has it all!)

Toya is just as awful as Helen and Pauline. Cannot stand the three of them.

Helen showing YET AGAIN what a nasty piece of work she is. Girl needs to stay away from the booze.

Jale deals with this relentless berating incredibly well especially when she doesn't seem to have much support in there.

I have no idea how Jale is so composed. I feel about 2000x more infuriated than she is acting because it's so unfair that she's being treated like this. I don't understand this slug thing, but it's really rude and I wish it'd be given a rest. Helen demonstrated tonight EXACTLY what I said yesterday, she got through 51 minutes of that episode being absolutely fine. One step forward for Helen. Then she just has to have a pop at Jale for SITTING ON A SOFA. Oh, how dare she sit on a sofa. Ten more steps back for Helen *sigh* I think Helen is just a really unpleasant drunk as a lot of her comments do seem to come after alcohol. Not that that excuses anything.

I tell you who is really growing on me, and it's Mark. He is still pretty annoying but there's something really humorous about him. The tea leaf thing and the diva strop really amused me, a rare ray of sunshine over another miserable episode. Danielle's becoming a real sweetie aswell <3

Looking forward to seeing how Calum defends Helen after that. Her an Pauline are so awful. Please let the next power housemate get a decision to revoke Helens immunity, I cannot bare to watch her.
Mark annoys me because he just reminds me of every annoying OTT gay camp queen I have ever met. He kind of reminds me of Jack & Joe actually, it just comes across as fake and annoying.
I really don't know where i stand with Mark. On the one hand he has made me laugh more than any other housemate (largely unintentionally, like his reaction every time there is a new nomination and psychic Mark which is legendary) but i agree with Jack that he comes across fake at times especially how he seems to have turned against Pauline since he heard the boos. I'm suspicious but i want to like him and give him the benefit of the doubt - he definitely doesn't annoy me as much now which is good.

I get the 'one step forward, ten steps back' thing in general with Helen but to be a bit pedantic :kink:, tonight she barely featured before the end (and when she was onscreen beforehand, she was engaged in a group bitching session about Marlon) so you're actually being a bit too kind to her IMO! The only times I've really felt that she's not a horrible person were during her various apologies and when she took criticism well from Danielle in the positivity task. And I definitely think she's shown a lot of unpleasantness without alcohol, although she's certainly much worse after drinking

I think you're probably right! With Pauline, I know that she's going to be evicted within the next few days or weeks, probably the same with Steven

With Helen, I know I've got to put up with her until the final week, so I'm desperately trying to find slight traces of positivity in her so that it doesn't make me feel so irritated! Although, you say she didn't do much in those 51 minutes, that IS a step forward for someone like Helen! I'd much rather she said absolutely nothing for the next few weeks quite frankly!

Funny as I was wondering why I had Helen relatively high in my ranking and I'm pretty sure I have the exact same mentality! I do think hope there'll be some sort of task down the line where she or someone else will be given the opportunity to revoke her pass to the final for some other prize. (This would be really mean but I'm thinking it could be something to do with contact with her family). That said, I find her a lot more bearable as a villain than Pauline because she has far less influence on house dynamics.

Who else thinks this week's eviction will have something to do with secret eviction a la Dexter and Gina last year? One person with most votes will leave but the person with the least votes will enter some secret area and will become a power housemate? Or without the secret area...
YES! They're not revealing who the power housemate is yet! Happy as it means the automatic target isn't there and it increases paranoia and means future holders can still be tactical :D

Wasn't that obvious anyway? I mean it'd be SUCH an anti-climax if they found out who the power housemates were at the end of each week. Although with the new power housemate already having been chosen by the time the old one is revealed attention would probably have to shift to finding out who the new person in charge is so it might not even matter. It's too difficult to predict really.

I hope Kimberly is the next power housemate <3

I was just worried that Big Brother would mess it up like they have done numerous times before. The Channel 5 series have all been a lot more open e.g. revealing all the noms on certain weeks and revealing what housemates have said on secret tasks and stuff, so I was worried they would do the same here but thankfully they have not yet. (They are bound to reveal them all eventually though).
