Looks like Nico & Vinz is postponed as its no longer a pre-order on itunes. I'd imagine they will leave it a month or two as its now exploding in the US and Australia

The Pierces' album is Album of the Week on Radio 2 so I'm guessing that means the release date of 1st September will change.

It was due for release early June but just got pushed back to September last week

I'm guessing R2 had picked it a while ago

EDIT: They must have realised, the album of the week is now Michael Bolton

ALBUMS

16th June

The Antlers - Familiars

Jennifer Lopez - A.K.A.

Klaxons - Love Frequency

Lana Del Rey – Ultraviolence

Lewis Watson – The Morning

Linkin Park - The Hunting Party

Marc Almond – Dancing Marquis

Maxi Priest - Easy To Love

Nightmares on Wax - N.O.W. Is The Time

Opeth – Pale Communion

Phillip Phillips – The World From The Side Of The Moon

The Quireboys – Black Eyed Sons

Tiesto - A Town Called Paradise

Willie Nelson – Band Of Brothers

At last, a date for Lana's album - a certain #1 IMO!

I think it could be close between Linkin Park and Lana, both of their last albums went to #1 but both seem to have generated less interest thus far in this era. (Of course 'West Coast' will probably do a lot better than either of the Linkin Park singles, but Linkin Park haven't been a big singles act for years, they could still shift a decent number with 'The Hunting Party' though based on its progress on iTunes so far).
Linkin Park's last album did 41k on debut in 2012 so I would think it'd be a bit lower than that given the lack of hype. They have a strong fanbase though so I wouldn't rule out a similar opening number. In any case I think (and hope) Lana will be higher and is sure to get good TV and other promotional opportunities.
Oh I thought Linkin Park's opening sales were higher than that last time - in that case Lana could do it but I still think it could go either way as there seems to be almost no hype for Lana at the moment despite how massive her first album was.

MKTO - Classic out 30th June according to iTunes.

It disappeared from Spotify so checked iTunes for a pre-order as I've also seen it in rotation on music channels. Glad to see it finally getting pushed here (even if it's a year after Oceania!).

I bet Sam Smith's gutted.

I did wonder if it would get released again when I saw the album up for pre-order last week

Who will win the June 2nd battle?

Lethal Bizzle feat Cherri Voncelle – The Drop Vs. Sing

The first one is doing much better on Pre orders... and it's the better song for me... sing is his worst by far and I love him very much... I think he will win with the BGT promo, although it's at the end of the week like in the last few hours so... :|

Ella & Jess releasing on the same week. Ooh that's going to be an interesting battle for #1. I think Jess will nab it though.

The dates will probably change before then

I was right, Jess is now released on the 14th July

Well goodbye any chance of her getting a 3rd #1 then as Ariana releases that week :drama:
