To be fair, there was quite a long gap between the first set of dates being announced and the second set. I imagine they wouldn't leave out the UK at all!

They just said they will tour the UK and Ireland at the end of 2015 which i think will mean arenas.

Well Liam mentioned in a interview they are negionating with the O2 Arena for their dates there so there might me truth in it.

If the tour is in winter though that's not good weather conditions for a stadium tour?

Although they're big enough to cope with the scale of stadium tours, if they're going to be promoting 'FOUR' with this tour, I really feel a more intimate setting is appropriate, i.e. arenas as opposed to just selling out stadiums.

Disagree, a lot of the songs on FOUR are stadium anthems. I think what's possibly hit a snag with UK & Ireland tour dates next year is the Rugby World Cup if they're wanting September/October dates. Shame really if they downsize from stadiums, but on a massive world tour like this, some things are out of your hands!

When you don't take into account their popularity and the demand, just purely as an act & what they do with their tours, I do think they'd be better suited to an arena size venue. I don't think they particularly make the most of the massive stadium venues they get to perform in, which is a bit of a shame.

they play on the 24th, 25th, 26th of September 2015 at the O2 Arena in London and Glasgow on 7th-8th of the October 2015.

Tickets for OTRA in UK are on sale at 9am 6th of December. the rest of the dates will be announced tonight
