The Saturdays talk about '808' and 'Walking Through The Desert'

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

'808' is apparently 'What About Us' part 2 and if there's actually some swearing wow... It could definitely be a track to remember.

However, I'm most excited about 'Walking Through the Desert' which sounded LUSH on that instragram clip so I can't wait!

Where have you got the 'swearing' bit from? I didn't hear it? :/ :D

Someone who is remixing it tweeted that there was swearing in it

Someone remixed it (which is why people are starting to wonder if this could be the next single despite what Mollie said about not intending on releasing a second single) and said there was quite a lot of swearing for ladylike women like The Saturdays.

my big problem/fear isn't so much about radio playing it. It's more about how little the band promote it. The promotion for Gentleman and Not Giving Up were both ABYSMAL and Disco Love was better but not great.

I love these girls but I really think they need to prioritise their careers a bit. Their management aren't booking enough for them to do

OMG YASSS! Although I hope it's not just "these bloody heels are killing me" as iconic as that line is. :D

They should do some early promo for this. The higher the pre-order gets the more chance radio will pay attention to it (and more airplay - more pre-orders). Nicole Scherzinger wasn't doing that well on pre-orders but has promoted the shit out of her song and now it's on Capital's playlist and #83 on pre-orders.

Hopefully they all needed a holiday now because the next 6 weeks are going to be crazy busy promo? :P

I agree, if a band and song keep popping up all over the place it's hard to ignore them. I'm hoping got another Radio tour.

This is exactly what they need to do, and get out of London a bit too

Just heard What Are You Waiting For? on SiriusXM Hits 1, a US satellite station. Nearly had a heart attack! Apparently they have a new weekly segment called the YouTube 15 where they hand pick and play lesser known songs that have received a lot of YouTube hits in the prior week. Hits 1 has 26 million subscribers (although I'm sure only a fraction of that actually heard it, but still) and they are supposed to be replaying the segment throughout the weekend. This is a good sign as the only other Sats song this station has touched is What About Us.
I'm still confused as to why this wasn't released over 30 Days as the lead for LFTW and placed on that album if it was recorded in 2012

I quite liked 30 days but it was a little week to do any impact on the charts. Maybe they didn't think it fit in nicely with the album? (Not that the album wasn't messy in terms of musical direction going from a R&B track 'Gentleman' to a dance-song 'WBU')

I agree, I liked 30 Days but it was definitely not an album lead. I think it could have fitted into the album - especially as a follow up to What About Us to build on the success of WAU, allowing way for Disco Love, Gentleman and Not Giving up in turn. Oh management -_-

I think this was originally intended for OYR? :o

The more I've thought about that lately, the more I wish they'd have put '30 Days' on On Your Radar (as much as it'd have significantly dragged the album's quality down) and used one of the stronger OYR tracks like 'Faster' or 'Get Ready, Get Set' as that single instead.

Unless '30 Days' wasn't a leftover from the OYR sessions and it was recorded afterwards?
