Oh Nico & Vinz are back up for pre-order! 31/8 is ages away for a song that's even gotten big in the US :/ And the original Scandinavian release was over a year ago.

I Got U, Waves and My Love will almost certainly be remembered, on dance compilations at the very least. Almost all of those songs live on. They're also #1s that are incredibly popular, which people don't "forget".

You know, I bet people were saying this about the 1994-1995 dance explosion in the charts. These songs really are no different from Let Me Be Your Fantasy, Set You Free, Dreamer, I Luv U Baby, U Sure Do, Push The Feeling On etc.

I agree. I bet people said all the UK garage songs would be forgotten too, yet it's 2014 and lots of them still get played today, even ones that didn't do well in the charts at the time.

The people who'll have "forgotten" about these songs in 10 years probably simply didn't like them in the first place.

Also, being #1 doesn't mean it's a song the whole country is supposed to know the song. Even though I love it, I bet only 20% of the UK maximum know SecondCity's song, but most of those that do know the song will probably remember it imo. You can't forget a song if you never knew it in the first place.

31st August?!?! It's already #8 on the Hot 100 after only 6 weeks and #3 on Digital Songs; I understand why the record labels act the way they do in the UK but 31/8 seems a bit extortionate.
