June 9, 201411 yr Ouch a video premiere couldn't even get this top 1,500 on iTunes. I can honestly see this doing an Alexandra Burke. R.I.P Pixie.
June 9, 201411 yr She looks absolutely stunning in the video! Bit disappointed this isn't doing well because it's probably my favourite song of hers now, can't get enough! <3
June 9, 201411 yr She needs to send this to radio either this week or next week. The OCC have been spam promoting the video for the past day  Edited June 9, 201411 yr by Let Go For 2nite
June 9, 201411 yr Capital fm, 4music, The Box etc.. Have all tweeted about the music video so can see TV airplay being alright actually! Radio play is another thing but it's been listed on capital on their future release which are usually playlisted. It depends if it gets played though :( Shes on google hangout tomorrow + coming onto capital at 10 o clock Edited June 9, 201411 yr by Let Go For 2nite
June 9, 201411 yr KISS FM put on their FB page a link to the video so they will most likely playlist it. The songs 59p, right? I think she'll be fine chart wise.
June 10, 201411 yr I can't see this being anything other than a low top 40 at the very most, ala Alexandra's 'Let It Go'.
June 10, 201411 yr There's still 7 weeks to go, I'm sure it will go top 20 EDIT - Premiered on: Viking, The Hits, Hallam fm No premiere on radio one :( Edited June 10, 201411 yr by Let Go For 2nite
June 14, 201411 yr 'Lay Me Down' still is not top 1500 on pre-orders. Not even in Pop. After this disastrous era I think she's gonna have to do a saturdays and build up some 'Breaking Into America' hype. I'm sure that will boot her career again Edited June 14, 201411 yr by Let Go For 2nite
June 14, 201411 yr Author After this disastrous era I think she's gonna have to do a saturdays and build up some 'Breaking Into America' hype. I'm sure that will boot her career again Or become a fashion model or something
June 14, 201411 yr I'm sure this is just a rough patch for her  Lay me Down is getting some plays on smaller radio stations le like The Hits. capital have played it twice too since the premiere (allegedly) which is a good sign. Then again, all the plays seemed to have come from Max at like 1:00am (source: Excited Tweeting fans) Edited June 14, 201411 yr by Let Go For 2nite
June 14, 201411 yr After this disastrous era I think she's gonna have to do a saturdays and build up some 'Breaking Into America' hype. I'm sure that will boot her career again You can't honestly think there will be any career left after a second consecutive mega bomb of an album. She's done!
June 14, 201411 yr You can't honestly think there will be any career left after a second consecutive mega bomb of an album. She's done! It's her own fault. 'Turn It Up' was a perfect pop album. 'All About Tonight' was a great pop song and that's what she does best. I don't understand why she is insisting of going for the motown sound. 'Young Foolish Happy' wasn't really a megabomb - 100,000+ is not really that atrociously bad in these current day climates.
June 14, 201411 yr I am fairly certain that album has not passed 100,000. It's more like 90,000 but I'm sure Music Week will confirm it soon when this one is released.

I don't understand why she is insisting of going for the motown sound. 'Young Foolish Happy' wasn't really a megabomb - 100,000+ is not really that atrociously bad in these current day climates. While Young Foolish Happy didn't sell shockingly badly, it was the drop in sales compared to her debut, and also the peak position of 18 for the album that makes it seem like a flop.
June 14, 201411 yr I think the album will struggle to get any higher than 30k sales tbh which is sad , hopefully this is one of those dips that she'll recover from. If not, then best of luck to her in her modelling career
June 14, 201411 yr I can just see this happening: -Small stations play the hell out of it (eg. Free Radio, The Hits) -No support from Radio 1 -Minimal support from Capital -After a promising start of good promotion (Paul O'Grady) on release week, she'll be on Lorraine & all the other talk shows that do nothing for her song. -Capital Big Top 40 interview with an awkward 'your not in the top 10 yet' speech. -Lay Me Down climbs a little after -A #11 peak (And that's this high because of fans buying the physical) Similar to Nasty but slightly worse, can't see her releasing any other single from this album + she won't if she's bothered about her brilliant top 20 run.
