As per the title, though it's probably not hard to guess which day will win. :P

 

I've made it multiple choice, for obvious reasons.

Only physicals for me in both.

I've started to buy downloads on Saturdays, due to the fact some records are coming out Friday. Though I used to do Mondays and later Friday. I would never do them Sunday, but I don't use iTunes, so it pays to wait longer for the other sites to put the new records up.

It depends. If I've been waiting for a track to be released, then I will buy it on the Sunday when it gets released. There are times when I'll buy a track from the 59p section on iTunes, but there isn't really a set day for this it'll be when I'm browsing iTunes. If it's an OA/OS release, then I'll get it whenever it comes out.

 

Album wise, again if I've been waiting for it to come out, then on the Monday it gets released, otherwise I'll usually buy it at the weekend, but tend to only buy physical copies of the albums. The only time I download full albums is if they're 99p on google play or some related offer on another site! :P

 

 

It's usually Monday as that's when they're normally released - quite often it's when I get notified by e-mail from my favourite labels that they have something new out...so, Monday, unless I read my mail late.

I only buy physicals.

I'm well informed about the release schedules, so will download singles on the Sunday usually. Of course any OA/OS or album tracks I decide I want can be bought any day of the week.

 

Album wise I usually pre-order and so receive on a Monday. Any albums I've downloaded in the past are bought on release date (so Monday again).

No preference unless it's something that I have been waiting for - With MP3 albums I usually listen to the preview clips a few times then wait a few days to see if one of the download sites reduce the price [Which happens every week without fail!] - So it usually means I end up buying from Thursday onwards.

No preference for both. It's more likely for me to buy singles on Sunday's and albums on Monday's I suppose but I download/buy stuff all through the week.

No particular day at all really, I'm not always around to download something the moment it's released but I usually do it within the week if I really want it.
