Why'd she release a SECOND song like Birthday which flopped?? Makes no sense and stinks of GaGa-like desperation for a hit to save the campaign!

If it's happening she'll probably release it later in the campaign but I can't see this song taking off big time.

I'd say it'd do worse than Birthday, unless she cuts that hidious "wait no no bring the beat back" part. That ruins the entire song for me. I'm actually going to cut that part out soon, cause it bothers me way too much :lol:

Completely agree - I hope they get rid of the bring the beat back part and have Iggy inserted there!

Leger Lur is the next E.T or well Dark Horse now that DH is the new E.T...

But 'Legendary Lovers' is just an inferior 'Dark Horse' so I can't see it being a hit.

I'm kind of excited as a Katy fan that TIHWD is being released as the fifth single though I would have preferred Legendary Lovers or Ghost. WOA would be nice also, but tbh that does very little for me compared to some of the much better album tracks. For me personally I hope this is how the singles go:

 

1. Roar

2. Unconditionally

3. Dark Horse

4. Birthday

5. This Is How We Do

6. Ghost

7. By the Grace of God

 

Idk but I've always thought that Ghost and BTGOG would be excellent as the last two singles.

Listening to WOA with earphones, I still think it's pretty sha,t but it would work better as a single than THIS!

 

I also think International Smile or LL (the best choice) should've been put forward.

"Walking On Air" should have been a single instead of this.

Not a classic Katy video by any means but suits the song nicely.

I do really like the video, but the song just really isn't single material.

Such a fun video, love it! I don't think the song will be much bigger than Birthday though :(

Love the video! Reminds me of Rude Boy in a way. Hope it is a hit, she deserves at least one more from this era.
