52. Lil Wayne ft Drake- Believe Me

Guessing this was released today and his first single from Tha Carter V.

Yet another collaboration involving them.

Why is clarity back in the charts and getting radio airplay. It came out last summer (should have went to no.1)

Re-release.

If only Tiestio could have somehow beat Ella Henderson

'Here For You' needs to smash at No.1.

Wasted is a bit better than Red Lights (not saying much), but I'm thankful it isn't heading for #1, since Ghost is a MUCH better song imo. (though if it's any consolidation, i think Wasted will easily make the top 3 next wk)

Wasted is okay, Red Lights was AWFUL. The All Of Me remix is great.

So pleased my song of the year thus far looks set to be huge. Not had that happen in a while now .
That Sheeran lead is crazy, the song is crap. There cant be such thing as the Pharrell effect can there?
Shocked by this! Good for him.

Not shocked at all - it was massive on my personal chart upon release last November and it was only on radio 1s INMWT list and it made the top 75. Hope it charts high although this re release makes me wonder if the album doesn't have much else on it?!

The pre orders have all moved up a lot today espech Gecko & Ella!

When was Lil Wayne's last lead single?

Approx. 15 months ago. It featured Drake (fresh collab).

Assuming 'Believe Me' goes top 100 it'll be the 7th top 100 hit that both artists appear on (after 'Forever', 'Love Me', 'Right Above It', 'The Motto', 'She Will' and 'I'm On One'). :drama: EDIT: 8th including 'BedRock'.

Some going by him, strange he's not relevant enough for radio anymore!

I don't think Lil Wayne has ever really had much radio support in the UK (aside from features). 'Lollipop' and 'Mirror' are pretty much his only songs to cross far beyond his core fanbase (although a couple of his other songs have had decent chart runs).

Have a feeling 'Tha Carter V' could do pretty well though (at least in its first week) as it's apparently going to be his last album (not sure I believe that).

Yes it should have, such a shame that it didn't. This was the song that made me fall for Foxes

There is a Pharrell effect on every single song apart from the only great one (Can't rely on you)

I love Sing but I do agree that Can't Rely On You triumphs all the others. Gutted that it didn't get the airplay it deserved :(

Most albums with any sort of biggish name do well chart wise in 2014  . It should make top 10 - 1 Xtra will be all over it!
