Rik now  to #4. There's now a bit of a gap to overcome but I could see him being #3 before the end of the day.

Oh yeah, I'm being overly optimistic there <_< Well, despite the fact I live in America, I still hope England wins the match!

oops, sorry! Added ^_^

Well according to some guy at Sky we're not going to lose :magic:

I know literally nothing about football but Italy sounds like a scary good-at-football country.

I can't be bothered to work out where the FOUR versions of World In Motion are combined but I'm hoping above pretty much everything else on that list.
Apparently now Jennifer Lopez will now be performing alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte for the opening ceremony of the World Cup tomorrow after resolving the "production" issues.

I guess she is over the embarrasment of her ex having it off with some transexual models then.

Nah, it's Uruguay we need to watch out for. Italy used to be really good, but they've lost their touch over the last few years, but then again so have England.

Anyway yay for Rik climbing. :cheer:

'Noble England' works well as a football song, it's obviously not meant to be listened to outside of that context (and anyway he was a comedian, not a musician).

Just occurred to me that kobbar would have had a field day with this!

I wish kobbar would come back, he was the funniest poster on Buzzjack

I'd say England Italy & Uruguay are of a similar standard but Uruguay are quite an old team and this could effect them but they have Suarez which means a lot, Italy are old too but even without unbelievable players a lot if the time they have a mentality to win at major tournaments and England are England youthful so they could get to the quarters but inevitably fail on the big stage.

Dark horses - Chile or Belgium

Uruguay have Cavani as well, I think England will be lucky to make it to the last 16. So many people are saying Argentina will win the World Cup but I reckon it will be Brazil that wins it.

51. Pitbull - We Are One (Ole Ola) [The Official 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Song] [feat. Jennifer Lopez & Cláudia Leitte]

This is the song to watch out for over the next 24 hours. Fairly certain to be in the iTunes top 10 by the end of tomorrow.

But they still play Lugano who's 36 in central defence who was released by West Brom after like 2 appearances! But Godin from A.Madrid is a decent player. I'm not sure Suarez will be fit but he will play because it's the World Cup and will be f***ed for Liverpool next yr :(. Cavani has been poor for PsG all yr but where better than a World Cup to prove people wrong. That leaves Forlan who's 35 and playing in Japan now....

The iTunes thread on BuzzJack is about the last place in the world I'd expect a proper football discussion to arise.

In other news Lorde now at #41 with 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' :o

Hopefully England lose quickly so people can get back to their lives and my family dont watch it on TV #sorrynotsorry
