I thought Psy would be a bit higher :( It's only a promo single though so we can't expect it to do as well as Gentleman let alone Gangnam Stlye.

 

Maybe it'll climb on Saturday, as we all know that is his favourite day of the week :)

The video for 'Hangover' is too tame. 'Gentleman' may have just been "look at how big a twat I can be" but at least noteworthy things happened. And frankly the song was more accessible.

I think it'll be a close race for #1 next week between Ella Henderson and 5SOS, but they'll probably debut at #1. Maybe this time they'll drop from 1 to outside the top 10 :kink:

I think it's pretty obvious it's not gonna re-peak now but I wouldn't say it's pointless - if you look at the Top 100 Songs/Albums weekly thread you can see just how long it's been in the chart for and this is just helping it on the way to being certified.

Yeah I think Clarity is doing pretty well for a re release considering how badly some other other recent ones have done. It'll probably wrack up some decent sales overall now. I wish they'd given it a better release first time round, though. It deserved top 10 at least.
