Jones should have been sent off. He did something similar in the first half too. But it's fine margins to blame the ref, I don't know how much difference it would have made. Football's a funny old game though. How Fellaini escapes yellow cards is becoming borderline madness too. It's genuinely like he gets 3 strikes!

The Skrtel stamp was nothing like Costa's on Can though  It was more like the one Costa did on him. You could clearly argue that he was running to get the ball, definitely not blatant like Gerrard / Costa. If he gets retrospective action he does, nothing you can do about it. Just need to avoid defeat at the Emirates, and we've still got a chance.

Anybody think Jones should have been sent off for the foul on Henderson?

There was a similar incident in the Bournemouth v Middlesborough game yesterday. As with Jones, I think the 'Boro player escaped with just a yellow card because of where it happened. In both cases, the defender was prepared to take a free kick and a booking rather than risk allowing the opposition to launch an attack. As the law stands at the moment, the referees got both decisions right.

Jones didn't deserve a red card for that tackle. It looked ugly because of the angle they were running at but it was a late challenge, nothing more than that.
Cech leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.

Hopefully Brendan Rodgers is seducing him as we speak.

Gerrard plays with his heart too much. He's only ever been sent off against Man Utd & Everton for Liverpool.. says it all really

First half 30 mins was unacceptable, the team panicked. That's one down side of having a very young team, an experienced body in midfield might have been able to help us get some grip back. Very interested to see how the team responds against Arsenal.

Was Lucas on the bench just back from injury or was he left there fully fit? Exactly the player we needed Sunday and def need to get a result at the Emirates!

He's back now, but been out for 4-5 weeks. Lacks match practice, Sunday definitely not the game to throw him in. Think he might get a start at the Emirated though, as I expect we will tweak the system against Arsenal.

Cech leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.

Sounds ideal for Arsenal... even Man United if de Gea goes. Will Mourinho sanction a sale to a title rival though?

Arsenal don't need a keeper. Certainly not one who'll cost what Cech will.

What's been your most shocking Premier League moment?

All comments and opinions are welcome on here.

I remember a lot of the older ones but I don't really remember their impact on the wider world, so it's very hard to place them in order.

I think they've definitely got the Top 1 right though.

Remember all from 2002 onwards (the Enckelman own goal against Birmingham).

Funniest was Adebayor celebrating in front of the Arsenal fans

Surprised the Pardew headbutt is so high, perhaps as it was more recent it's fresher in the memory but it seemed to be swept under the carpet a lot quicker than the rest of those in the top 10.

Also Gerrard straight in at #28

Surprised this wasn't included:

Phil Babb and the Nutcracker- Liverpool v Chelsea 1998

Don't call me a 'money-grabbing 20 year-old'
says Raheem Sterling following him turning down a new Liverpool contact worth £90,000 per week. Talks will start again in the summer.

What is he then?

I'm resigned to him leaving.. Don't mind if he does as long as it's not to a Premier League club.

I expect Man City to come in for him massively.

Wasn't it reported he turned down 180k a week!? He's not exactly homegrown either, so he doesn't feel the same tie to the club that stopped Gerrard joining Chelsea for instance.

If I were City I'd go in for De Bruyne instead. Still only 23 and less likely to leave in a strop.

Brendon Rogers insisting that Raheem Sterling will not leave Liverpool this summer.

We'll wait and see what happens there regarding Sterling.
