Bang Bang taken off spotify now, not sure why, I know the single is coming out in a month or so but doing well on spotify would have helped it

what a strange decision :wacko: When will all the record companies learn that it's beneficial to a song's peak position to release it to spotify a few weeks before putting it up on iTunes? :drama: hopefully Bang Bang gets put back up soon.

Spotify is the most used streaming service so it's about time it had its own thread like how iTunes does, will be useful to see what's streaming well on a regular basis.

Spotify’s homeland of Sweden, where the service is truly mainstream, showed year-on-year growth of just over 27% in the same period: from 19.7m plays of the top 50 in the week ending 21 July 2013 to 25.1m in the week ending 20 July 2014.

 

That’s a mature streaming market, but it also means the UK is seemingly on the verge of overtaking Sweden – by the same metric, it saw growth of 162% year-on-year, from 9.1m top-50 track plays to 23.7m. The Netherlands (78%), Spain (100%), Germany (103%) and France (158%) also saw strong growth.

Excellent news. Anything that harms its peak position/longevity on the chart is great IMO. :D

Certainly explains why sales at the top end are dying a very quick death recently!
I thought holding songs back was great it gets you to No1 - that's all that matters!

I think Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz are likely to be the next UK streaming chart #1, "Am I Wrong" never looked like overthrowing "Rude" (currently 4 weeks at #1 now) and seemed destined to stall at #2.

No, nothing, I see the column streams, but it's empty for me. Everything else has the same problem?

 

Maybe because you work for Spotify, you can see it but no one else.

I can see the number of streams too. However the latest daily figures seems to be a few days behind but it's still a useful site depending whether it works for others or not, but I can see the streaming numbers.

Hah, I know the problem. I can't see it on Firefox, but on Safari and Google Chrome they are visible :o
