I want 'No Good' to get it.

Either will do as both are genius. I've been playing No Good a lot of late and it still thrills 20 years after hearing it.

Hoping for No Good... I don't mind Out Of Space but I do find it a bit overrated.

Unfortunately having to take the runner-up spot is one of the most recognisable songs from The Prodigy (and the song I thought would win before I had collected scores...) which put up a STRONG fight, narrowly missing a 9.5 average and not scoring less than a 07 from any rater. That absolutely infectious beeping riff, leading into that reggae-lite chorus drop and its fast-paced gabber rave themes encapsulated what was great about the early rave scene, and still sounds SO damn good today. Plus who doesn't love a good ostrich or two in the video?

With it scooping in an INCREDIBLE eleven 10+ rates, and scoring no less than an 08 from any voter, 'No Good (Start The Dance)' runs away with the title of Buzzjack's favourite The Prodigy song. This was the track I first adored by the group, due to that addictive candy-rave vocal sample from Kelly Charles' 'You're No Good For Me', which has been sampled a whole HOST of times following the success of its use on this track. Complete that with a dark and striking synth chorus that signalled a turning point to the darker-sounding dance outfit we know today, it is a fitting and (in this humble girl's opinion) satisfactory winning track in this rate.

I did not rate and therefore I'm feeling a bit guilty. I only knew (by name at least) Out Of Space, Breathe, Warrior's Dance, Omen, Invaders Must Die and vaguely know Firestarter which is why, but I'm just posting to say I'm very pleased to see Warrior's Dance get top 5 and Out Of Space in at #2.

 

I'm listening to No Good for the first time as I post this and it's pretty fab, can certainly understand why it won.

Well I for one am v surprised at 'Out Of Space' being that high, especially above 'Firestarter' :o 'No Good (Start The Dance)' is a very deserving winner, would have preferred 'Breathe' obviously but 3rd is not bad for that!

'No Good' isn't my fave of their songs (it's my least fave in the top 5) but it's a good winner. Was hoping that Out of Space would do it though given the top 2.

I'm a bit surprised but delighted about Out of Space being that high. I thought it would have suffered because of its age.

I do like 'Out Of Space' but I feel people overrate it a bit, I was expecting that to win it though!

No Good is not that good really. :angel:

Slightly peculiar number one choice - it's great, but it's not even the best on Jilted. Ah well, I'm used to BJ rates being slightly off the norm.
