GODtya and Vanessa would BREAK all chart records possible! (If either could be arsed.....) :yahoo:

Godtya...?

I just want Vanessa to get a bigger public profile so solo projects are a bit more realistic! (sorry to deviate from WAYWF discussions!)

The Saturdays WISH they recorded this hot hit x

25-94 in the sales only chart, which would still have been dreadful! :o

We won't know until Thursday where it is in the main chart. I'm going to predict that it's fallen over 100 places and will only be around #140-ish.

Falls from #38 to #144!

Updates to the Singles/Albums charts/sales threads will be made today. ^_^ Check them out soon for sales info.

I can see the girls singing that song (Song 4 Saturdays!) rather than some Sugababes hits, but I also think Mutya's attitude makes 50% of it.

Neither have I to be honest.

They also say that they've had Number 1's on the chart with the following:

Up

Work

Missing You

Headlines:The Remixes (?)

All Fired Up

My Heart Takes Over

What About Us

Gentleman

Not Giving Up

They're quite popular on this chart it seems!!

I love that their worst commercially charting singles have made it to #1 on that chart - "Commercial Pop Top 30".

I'm a decade late on this, but I'm pretty much addicted to this single.

It took its time to finally grow on me, but now I'm loving it ! I can't see what it wasn't a success though.

Radio wanting to move on from dance-pop me thinks, and thus not backing it.

I've realised how much I love Rochelle's lower range; a la the bridge - "burnin' up, oooh we're burnin up'. I feel that's where her tone sounds it's best, hence why her harmonies tend to be at a lower key (Forever Is Over/My Heart Takes Over).

(I think)

I've actually realised not so long ago how much lower Una's harmonies are than Rochelle's. I don't know, Rochelle just got a naturally deeper tone which kinda lead you to think she'd the one leading the low harmonies, but no. But then, it's pretty much the same thing with Mollie and Frankie. Mollie got a more girly/feminine voice than her, yet Frankie is the one that can reach the highest note between the two.

Obviously tone doesn't mean nothing in terms of range which explain this, but I just thought it was funny.

I love the "oh, we're burning up" part in 'WAYWF' as well, Breakfast. Might be my second favorite part actually!

Una's harmonies stand out from the others' as well.

I always hear her when she harmonizes

What Are You Waiting For is in The "It's My Party" playlist on the Dutch Spotify http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png

Anyone else consider this as one of the best songs of their career?

The song starts with a huge burst of energy and then there's all these hooks and catchy moments, the huge build up and explosion in the middle chorus, the huge instrumental behind it, the catchy repetitive middle 8 and then another huge burst of party flavoured goodness at the end. :D

I mean, I love Ego/Higher etc but with them you're just waiting on the choruses to kick in but with this song it's just one big long chorus. I hammer it about 5 times a day and still can't get enough of it.

The song definately deserved a lot more, top 5 if you ask me! The hype when they released the audio on youtube was huge!

WAYWF is awful. Generic, no personality and could've been by literally anyone. It's one of their worst singles ever. The only good bit of the song is the euphoric hook which starts at 1:30.
