August 4, 201410 yr Every time the Dailymail post something about them, literally 90% of the comments are negative
August 4, 201410 yr That's the Daily Mail. It's full of fat old low life bitter women that spite hate at everyone and everything, while sitting at home with their windows 95 computer and nothing else to do cuz they got no friends Edited August 4, 201410 yr by *Tim
August 4, 201410 yr I refuse to read Daily Mail articles about any artist I like, they are always negative
August 4, 201410 yr Anyone else think this could miss top 40 now? Things that suggest they WILL flop horribly - - Sirens and Lay Me Down done very similar to this on iTunes and both flopped horrible. - No airplay - Streaming is against them - Pre-orders have been terrible Things that suggest they MIGHT at least go top 40 (yay?) - They have a bigger fanbase than Cher and Pixie and should at least sell enough to enter the top 40 on iTunes AT LEAST - Not Giving Up done even worse on pre-orders yet went to #14 on iTunes - They should have decent promo lined up since it's a lead single to a Greatest Hits - The EP has been doing okay and if the album does well (cough #1) it should hopefully persaude radio to play the song
August 4, 201410 yr Mollies Twitter photo of a passport - for the love of god PLEASE tell me she and the girls are coming back to start promoting?!
August 4, 201410 yr Anyone else think this could miss top 40 now? 100% not. I'm actually quite optimistic (if its missed place optimism i'm not sure), but I think its going to go top 15. However, I don't think the album has any chance of being #1.
August 4, 201410 yr Mollies Twitter photo of a passport - for the love of god PLEASE tell me she and the girls are coming back to start promoting?! The other 4 will be back, Mollie will be off to get a quick few days holiday in LA

And comparably to 'Sirens' and 'Lay Me Down' - I'm not sure about that. It not being top 1500 on Pop is just dreadfully worrying after what happened to Pixie.

Well 'What Are You Waiting For?' went to #106 on iTunes which is higher than 'Not Giving Up' ever went and higher than Cher + Pixie ever went too.

If anything, they will be on par with each other. I don't really know what happened with Lay Me Down tbh.
August 4, 201410 yr Tv airplay 71-38-38-out of top 50 Well...it's better than nothing. (speaking of TV airplay, there's a Lily Allen vs The Saturdays hour segment on Bliss TV tomorrow morning. I watched it earlier and I don't think they even included the new single.) Edited August 4, 201410 yr by shadow2009
August 5, 201410 yr Erm, 'Not Giving Up' was doing far better on pre-orders as it was top 1,500 two weeks before release.
August 5, 201410 yr Anyone else think this could miss top 40 now? Entirely possible, #32 is the very highest I'm predicting at this stage.
August 5, 201410 yr This is The Hits' 10th most played song of the past month with 137 plays. If only they received that kind of support from other stations...
August 5, 201410 yr For anyone who has time/can be bothered here's a list of stations to tweet and request What Are You Waiting For, from my experience most of these do actually listen, unlike Capital, Kiss or R1. @thehitsradio @northsound1 @1025Clyde1 @kmfmofficial @JuiceFM @tayfm @officialcoolfm @key103 @hallamfm @forthone @HeatRadio @VikingFM @RadioCity967 @forthone @WestFM Every little helps, happy tweeting ;)
